Yes! As a perfume lover, you always learn something new! During my perfume journey and my constant search for new scent notes, I came across this fragrance through a perfume subscription that I had for about a year. Aphrodisiac wow what a name .. it piqued my curiosity and the description sounded inviting! When testing, I encountered this somehow familiar scent note... somehow piercing?! It had to be the musk combined with beaver musk... of course, I immediately dove into research about what beaver musk is! Humans! What we do is really crazy... but that should be a different topic ... I immediately sniffed Alaia Blanche! Bullseye! For me, it has the same unmistakable vibe! However, with Alaia Blanche, it says "animalic note"... which reminds me of a perfumed fur coat... However, Initio is not as powdery. I'm not really into fur... That's why I stuck with the sample from the subscription!

Sounds strange? It is! That's exactly how it smells to me! I have to say that I have been enjoying incense with resins, seeds, and various plants for a long time; I just love it, it creates a great atmosphere! I also love fragrance oils, actually everything that smells :) just a fraghead! But where is my scent orgasm here? Tempted by various YouTube videos, I even ordered a 100 ml bottle blindly! And then ... no, it can't be, maybe my content is different? I clearly smell Oud, and for me, it smells, I have to address it bluntly, in combination with the musk like A.... Yes .. not disgusting now, but a subtle breeze is clearly present :)) I wanted to wear it so much and I tried, but nothing to be done, my nose is playing tricks on me here! I will try again in winter ...

I found my favorite two years ago under the Christmas tree...but that is another story. When you love something, you love it with all its quirks, and my “favorite” reminded me of something I had smelled a long time ago. Through various research, I figured it out...driven, I went to the next opportunity to sniff; I had to know...and yes, it was the direct relative, of course “older” with more edges and not as cosmopolitan and refined as my favorite, but the mother version! Casmir is a beautiful vanilla scent; the coconut in the top note forms a lovely connection with the peach. The flowers in the heart are not so clear here, and the base is not so rounded, yet still beautiful. A 30 ml version was allowed to join my collection...not because I would wear it, no! So that the family can come together!

I love Arabic fragrances; their longevity and scent creations are exceptional! Not to mention the price-performance ratio. Afshan is a great clean scent for me; to be precise, it smells like Dove shower cream on me! When lightly applied, it is a wonderful everyday fragrance...
