To use or not to use, that is the question

Every once in a while, I take out from the dark corner of the cupboard a tiny mini of Guerlain Winter Delice. Or a gorgeous bottle of Fendi Theorema. Or a bottle with the last drops of Feminite du Bois by Shiseido. And then I put them back, because I am too afraid to use them, knowing that each spray means there is less in the bottle and that I will not be able to replace them anymore.

And then I catch myself regretting not wearing them- what good is it having beauties like this, and having them sit in their boxes for eternity.

Using the doscontinued gems has always been problematic for me, because on the one hand, while I love the gorgeous juice inside the bottles, at the same time I always have in the back of my mind the crazy prices these now reach on the auction websites. And tthe thought that once they are gone, they are gone. There will be no more. And so I put them away for another few weeks, and then a few more, and another couple of weeks.

Whenever I do wear them, I love them, and this is why it's a bit harder to let them go, spray by spray. I wish there was a recipe for using them up carefree and keeping them at the same time.
