I request a test of Gardenia!
I had been eagerly awaiting this perfume before Christmas!
Since I really like gardenias in nature, along with their almost narcotic scent, this Lehmann candidate had to be tested as well.
I am very enthusiastic because so far I haven't found a solo scent with gardenia that I truly liked.
In the meantime, "Gardenia" has joined my collection and I enjoy wearing it.
I am surprised that apparently hardly anyone in this forum has tested or owns this perfume.
I believe this Lehmann scent could appeal to several users who like gardenia perfumes, and therefore I request a test!

I find this elixir to be a fresh-floral uncomplicated scent with authenticity, while also possessing an elegantly charming spirit, yet it remains light and cheerful.
The fragrance has nothing synthetic, overly sweet, or even a sharp scent that causes headaches.
This sometimes occurs with intensely fragrant flowers..
Not here, Harry Lehmann has created a well-made perfume that a woman can wear in various ways, regardless of whether she is younger or of a more mature age.

"Gardenia" starts after application without a sharp alcohol note, but sweet-floral with the typically intoxicating scent of gardenia.
After a few minutes, a subtle hint of coconut joins in, yet it remains quite in the background and gives the perfume a slightly creamy quality.
I also perceive, like my previous commentator "Gelis," slightly green scent facets that make the fragrance overall interesting without robbing the opulent floral sweetness of the enchanting white flower.

As the scent develops, the intoxicating floral fragrance remains, although it becomes slightly less sweet and increasingly develops a creamy skin feel, while the delicately green-embedded gardenia remains present until the end of the scent development (30 minutes).

The longevity is very good, as the scent veil clings to the skin for 6-8 hours.
The sillage is moderately enhanced.
And the bottle with the typically nostalgic lettering of the traditional brand is always a visual delight for me.

A Fresh Rose with Youthful Spirit!
Sometimes it is indeed hard to find a good rose scent..
Either the scent of the rose comes off as a bit musty - very musty, or even artificially sweet without any natural aura.
And once again, I admit to being a fan of Harry Lehmann's fragrances, and "Rose de France" is among the other perfumes of this traditional brand.
Here, a rose reveals itself that exudes a fresh and citrusy scent, and over time has a very subtle hint of wine.. At least that's how I perceive it :)
"Rose de France" has a fresh, youthful, dreamy spirit, and a very natural scent.
Additionally, it has a fragrance aura that radiates joy of life.
This rose perfume is not at all "old-fashioned, musty," but clearly structured and suitable for both young and older women for many occasions.
One appears well-groomed, and it is at the same time an elegantly appealing scent.
I must say that this perfume is very well made, like many of the fragrances by Harry Lehmann that I have had the pleasure of getting to know and own!
There will surely be more to discover in the future :)

Now to the description..

Overall, "Rose de France" does not undergo a long fragrance development.
The fragrance notes quickly unite and do not change much over time!

Immediately after application, the clear freshness of a rose with a rather intense citrus aroma is revealed, along with a scent of Nivea cream and green notes.
One could almost think that one has a real rose from the garden under their nose when sniffing with closed eyes.
The scent comes across as very authentic, and I like that!
After a few minutes, I perceive a very light wine note, which still remains quite in the background.
During the time frame of the base note (20-30 minutes), a pleasant and fairly intense scent veil of clear citrus-scented roses remains, paired with the typical scent of Nivea cream and a light hint of wine.

The longevity is good, as this little potion lasts easily 5-6 hours.
The sillage is moderate..

Absolutely worth a test!

Here the name says it all! A perfume that reminds of a desert..
I had been looking forward to this perfume candidate for a long time and had it on my wishlist for quite a while!
Thanks to a nice user, I was finally able to test this magnificent perfume, as they were kind enough to gift me a sample. Thank you again for that :)
No.02 - L´Air du Dèsert Marocain was the first Tauer fragrance I tested and I am thrilled!
It absolutely has to join my collection someday!

Here the name is clearly on point, as this scent makes me, like apparently other users here as well, think of a hot and dry desert.
A vast steppe comes to mind, with sand dunes that seem endless. The heat of the glaring sun shines relentlessly from the blue sky, allowing only a bit of cooling at night.
And individual clumps of cacti remind one that even in such places on Earth, life still exists.

No.02 - L´Air du Désert Marocain is a unique scent that is very well crafted and intricately woven.
All the listed fragrance notes come through clearly and finely intertwined.
It is a very spicy and warm scent that is dry, has no sweetness, and possesses pleasantly spicy-oriental and animalistic facets in the base note.
There is a bit of everything that the fragrance pyramid offers.
As a unisex perfume, I would also categorize this elixir, as it suits both genders.
Regardless of the season, this fragrance candidate is well wearable.
I would even say that it is even more appealing to wear in summer, especially because of the association with the desert, but also due to the warm temperatures of a mild summer day!

This wonderful perfume treasure is not at all alcoholic after application, but immediately moderately spicy, subtly citrus-herbaceous due to petitgrain.
The top note is fully present right away, as spicy cardamom unites directly with cumin and quickly transitions into the heart note.
I don’t particularly perceive jasmine, but rock rose follows in quite an intense form behind the spicy notes.
Animalistic and sweet amber, together with cedarwood and vetiver, create a true fragrance experience.
Another plus point for me is that the vetiver is not sharply piercing as it unfortunately sometimes is in perfumes with vetiver, but possesses a pleasant sharpness.
No.02 - L´Air du Désert Marocain does not undergo any remarkable scent development.

Within a few minutes, an interplay of almost all fragrance notes sets in.. By the time of the base note (30 minutes), this dreamy desert scent gains even more warmth and spice and shows long-lasting endurance.

I rate the longevity as very good. This Tauer lasts on the skin for 8-10 hours.
I perceive the sillage as moderately strong.
I find the design of the bottle appealing, so I rate it as very good!

Absolutely worth a test!

A new beautiful Monoi scent!
Since I was in the mood for a new Monoi scent some time ago and I was already familiar with the Monoi fragrance from Yves Rocher, I wanted to try something new and chose this original Eau de Toilette from the brand Tiki Tahiti.

It's a pity that not many here in the forum seem to own Tiaré or are familiar with it yet, because I believe this scent would appeal to some of you!
Absolutely worth a test!
I cannot agree with my predecessor here. But tastes are indeed different!

Tiki Tahiti is a brand that has been around since 1942 and has many fans all over the world.
They produce wonderful Monoi oils with various tropical-scented ingredients like coconut, sandalwood, vanilla, and of course the classic Monoi-Tiaré scent as body oil.

And to my great joy, they also offer various fragrances like this beautiful piece!

I was very curious about this Eau de Toilette, could hardly wait for it to arrive, and I was not disappointed at all!
Compared to the Monoi scent from Yves Rocher, which appears "fresher" but somehow also artificial-sweet, Tiaré exudes pure naturalness, has a warm exotic aura, and is wonderfully cozy, floral-warm, and creamy.

A plus point is that the Eau de Toilette is quite affordable and has good longevity.
For me, this little fragrance lasts easily 5-6 hours.
A long scent development does not occur, as all notes unite after 10 minutes.

After applying the elixir, my thoughts clearly drift towards the South Seas.
I think of palm trees, the infinitely vast sea, white beaches, the warm sun shining on my face, and the carefree spirit that the people there radiate.
Along with this wonderful scent that one can surely perceive more often in those regions than here..

Monoi-Tiaré starts off a bit soapy after spraying.
Tiaré is slightly alcoholic at first, but this fades away quite quickly for me after a few minutes.
Immediately, I perceive a rich creamy scent of gardenias, which is not very sweet, but pleasantly green-floral and warm.
Ylang-Ylang seems to unite very quickly and willingly with the gardenia, so that both scent notes perfectly set the rhythm together.
Neither steals the show from the other, resulting in a perfect duo.
Gardenia and Ylang-Ylang are clearly the main actors in this olfactory performance.
Vanilla plays a small supporting role at the end and stays somewhat in the background. Nevertheless, it makes its presence known in a low dose and adds a touch of exoticism to the whole.

Finally, a patchouli that I truly love!
So far, I haven't had particularly good experiences with this fragrance note called "patchouli."
Often, it was quite intense in a perfume, almost overwhelming, and smelled artificial and musty, which frequently gave me headaches and even nausea.

Except for 2 exceptions, "Psychedélique" by Jovoy and "Patchouli" by L´Erbolario. I like these scents!

Then I had the great luck to test "Patchouly" by Mazzolari!
Immediately, I noticed the high quality of the perfume as a whole and the skillfully harmonized blend of all notes that do not suppress the patchouli at all but rather let it shine.

This fine "Italian" is clearly the main character of this olfactory performance.
He likes to show off his aura.. He is attractive to sexy without being vulgar!
But he also likes to show his gentleness, his soft and tender side.. And he cannot be suppressed, he is confident and shows it in an olfactory sense!

I would wear this fragrance more in the autumn-winter season, as it is a spicy-warm oriental with a quite intense patchouli scent alongside amber.
Still, I think that on mild summer days/nights, in lower doses, it can fully unfold its charm!

"Patchouly" starts with amber, which immediately unites with the patchouli and has a sweet-animalic scent that gives the patchouli a dark, deep, and mystical quality.
The scent of patchouli is pleasant and intensely earthy.
It has nothing cold from damp-musty earth, nor anything synthetic that could be disturbing or lead to potential headache attacks.

The warmth of this "Italian" is immediately noticeable after application, and it has a pleasant and quite intense spiciness that is not sharp and becomes a bit sweeter with a hint of warm honey.
After a few minutes, "Patchouly" changes its scent slightly and takes on a touch of amber and vanilla-scented facets.
One hardly wants to take their nose away from the wrist, as the perfume becomes beautifully balsamic and develops gentleness until the base note period.
This impression reminds me of the so-called "cuddle factor".. This is clearly noticeable later and gives a cozy feeling!

The longevity is very good. The elixir lasts 8-10 hours. The sillage is moderate-strong.

I never would have thought that I would come to love a patchouli perfume so much!
This Mazzolari is always worth a test!
Even if one thinks they wouldn't like patchouli as a fragrance essence.
One can be proven wrong, just like I was :)
