One of the most incredible, beautiful, superb, masterfully blended fragrances I’ve ever smelled. This is the only fragrance that’s ever garnered a strong emotional response from me, there’s something about it that reminds me of comfort, warmth and peace. Longevity is OK, 5-7 hours on average and projection is okay, but i really don’t think this is a scent that was meant to have enormous amounts of sillage. It’s meant to be long lasting, but subtle at the same time.

Never cared much for the OG noir extreme, was a bit too sweet for me, leaned very feminine to my nose. This, however, is a different beast…more masculine, more rough, less sweet. The leather, suede, Tonka bean and tobacco notes really help make this a much more seductive, mature, dark scent. On the dry down you’re still left that beautiful, sweet noir extreme DNA, which is very nice. Performance and projection are better than the original, I get a phenomenal 10-12 hours of longevity and a good 2 hours of medium projection of maybe 2-3 feet until it comes in closer to the skin. Scent does linger very nicely on my skin for almost 15 hours. Overall, I’d say they knocked this one out of the park.
