Saturnalis

i do feel the pine & juniper briefly on opening, maybe a touch of frankincense in the mid. mostly the dry woodiness of ambrocenide. meh.

aldehydes & mandarin open, then a herbal, dark rose. deep, bitter, but not fragile. oakmoss & labdanum in the base for inky, resin depths.

fruity grape / violet opening and throughout. hint of clove, then lots of medicinal oud, surrounded by powdery benzoin, wax & spices.

bubblegum laid over civet & oud. sickly to start but settles quickly to something more spicy & musky. tuberose remains the star throughout.

sharp blackcurrant & jasmine open. combination of tobacco & cherry pit / almond plunge into earthy, bittersweet depths. subtle tuberose.
