A rose for those who hate rose
99% of the time the slightest hint of rose will turn me completely off a fragrance. My nose generally can't get past it and it makes most fragrances too dated - but this right here is stunning. I think this is what LV La Rose wants to be. This is a sexy, modern rose. I am highly impressed.

Lovely, especially for the price
I unsure why this is rated so low because I find it complex, transformative and extremely nice - especially when you take the price point into consideration. Each note is perceptible and the wearer goes on a journey through each one. I thought the notes might be odd, but they actually work together to provide the wearer with an enjoyable journey. I think this is brilliant niche Perfumery and I think it would be nearly impossible to find something so nice in this price range. You owe it to yourself to sample this and not go by these scores.

Stunning, Versatile, & Long Lasting
I don't normally rate fragrances a 10 or wax poetically about how much I love them, but I'm doing it here. I absolutely love this stuff.

This is perfectly unisex, extremely versatile and darn near perfect. It smells exactly like one would think it does by looking at the notes. It's spicey, slightly sweet and boarders creamy, but doesn't actually go there. I wear it in every season and I don't feel like it's too heavy in the heat or light in the freezing weather.

I have over 1,000 bottles. If I had to pick a single fragrance to keep, I think this would be it. You should definitely give it a sniff.

Stays Close to Skin
I find this quite lovely. It's well blended and hard to discern any one note, but my nose settles on the oris butter, vanilla and woods. I think I can very faintly detect the sweetness of the dried fruit, but it might be the cloves I'm picking up. All ingredients seem high quality. There's nothing screechy about this.

This might just be characteristic of the house, but on my skin it doesn't project at all. Unfortunately, I have to hover right over the area I sprayed to enjoy it. If it was louder, I would likely scoop up a bottle because I really do find it enjoyable, cozy and comforting. Given the above I believe I will just enjoy my decant.

This House Keeps Getting Better
Truly, Day Three came out swinging with hits like Filosofía, Bani and La Tacita de Café. Last year they gave us a summer vacation with Escándalo which I was happy to see "lighten" the house offerings a bit. That said their last two releases have gone back to the heavier scent profiles, but they have blown me away. Aylan brought new life to the rose oud combo, and now this.

Tres Oros straddles that thing line of smelling so near edible that you almost want to lick it, but still smells like a fragrance you want to wear and not food you want to eat. I love gourmands. I have smelled hundreds of them, but rarely have I smelled one this good. The plantain here scared me. Bananas and the like have always kind of turned too ripe (maybe?) for my nose to enjoy, but this is perfect. If you enjoy gourmands at all, you simply must sample this. Each note is identifiable, but it's perfectly blended. I don't know how they did cinnamon so well. This is definitely going to be an easy fall reach.
