Picnic at Noon

True gourmand with a twist! I'd call this a green gourmand. It's very very sweet, creamy and strong. I get a little bit of fig and cardamom which makes it smell kind of green and woodsy, also what gives it that citrusy hint. It's as if you've been having a picnic all day outside under the hot sun, and the picnic consists of freshly home baked pastries. It turns nuttier on the dry down but the sweetness stays consistent. Very interesting fragrance.
Although personally I don't know when it would be the perfect occasion to wear, I feel like a true fan of gourmands would appreciate it a lot more.

Also, I can't help but talk about the bottle for a second. I will forever be enticed by spherical caps and slightly smoothed-out edges on rectangular bottles. Gorgeous. Choux Choux by Liis, you're next.

lace-trimmed cap askew over a doppelganger's reflection

A melancholic's cream-stained regency morning dress worn well past midnight, white muslin and satin grown heavy with torpor, lace-trimmed cap askew over hair unwashed and unpinned for days. Yesterday's rice pudding congealing in bone china teacups, spiced cardamom linen sachets tucked into untouched pillows, the intimate smell of unwashed scalp beneath crumpled muslin caps. The ontological vertigo experienced by a doppelganger's reflection - am I the copy or the original, is this morning or evening, why does this chemisette smell like vanilla and the milky price of sweetness, the ghost of tiny, crushed wings. The sleepless moon, bedimmed and bedeviled, bears witness to another pale, faceless shadow in the window.

Lovely, especially for the price

I unsure why this is rated so low because I find it complex, transformative and extremely nice - especially when you take the price point into consideration. Each note is perceptible and the wearer goes on a journey through each one. I thought the notes might be odd, but they actually work together to provide the wearer with an enjoyable journey. I think this is brilliant niche Perfumery and I think it would be nearly impossible to find something so nice in this price range. You owe it to yourself to sample this and not go by these scores.

Shake it to the Noon ;-)

For me an interesting feel-good fragrance... Rather "green-inspired" gourmand. In the opening creamy fig, changes to a light roasted note, no nothing burnt ;-) had briefly sniffed something nutty, cardamom pod. It's an exotic shake for me, the majority of the listed "ingredients" are really perceptible. Nearly Noon is a fragrance that develops from sweet, creamy fig to woody and back to gourmand. Definitely worth a test. I only knew cardamom as an ingredient from Chypre Shot. After a few minutes, the twist becomes beautifully powdery, a little saffron, dosed as in Glamour. If you want to try something new and fancy this twist/development....H/S above average.

Feel-good fragrance

I discovered the fragrance by chance and of course it made me curious. The individual notes sound so beautiful!
The bottle is simple, but I like it a lot.

The fragrance... ohh it's really beautiful! Yes, it starts a little "sweaty" due to the cardamom. But not unpleasant for me. And then it becomes so beautifully soft and cuddly. It smells like rice pudding with cream and coconut. It's not sugar-sweet, but very pleasant. Vanilla and sandalwood also come through nicely afterwards.

The longevity is very good. Lasts all day on the skin, even when it gets close to the skin, and even longer on clothing.

I really like this fragrance, it's like a hug.
Whether it is worth the shipping costs plus customs, everyone has to know for themselves.
