Oud Old Spice (EDP Version)
This is Shulton's Old Spice formula with a good amount of oud added. You get all the classic manly goodness of the Old Spice with a deep oud note sitting right on top. It really works well, it adds a new and interesting dimension to a age old classic. Very masculine in a gentlemanly sort of way.
Please don't get turned off by the Old Spice. I'm not talking about the current iteration of Old Spice. This is a recreation of the classic formula. Done with niche level quality.
I get about 8 hours longevity and decent projection. This is not a room filler by any means, but leaves a nice scent trail and pleasant wafts as you move around. I think this is a fragrance that is good for any season or setting especially for work, church or family get togethers.. Because it's so classic, familiar but with a unique twist that will stand out a little, without being aggressive or overpowering.

Burning the Pile of Leaves
As a kid living in the burbs of Detroit in Southeast Michigan. I lived in a House with about 20 trees in the yard. In the fall my Dad, brother and I would take up these huge piles of leaves. And I mean huge. Then as Michigan families did in the 80s we would burn them. It was a bit of a party. The neighbors would come over. The adults would have beer, the teens would do whatever teens do and the kids would throw stuff in the leaf inferno. Was it safe? Probably not. Was it fun? After hours of raking leaves.... absolutely it was.
Darkfall reminds of this time in my life. As a added bonus it's an amazing fragrance. It's starts of incredibly smokey and pungent. Smells just like burning leaves. This does tone down. It becomes a wonderful smokey, spicy, woody, resinous scent. It's very masculine and rugged, with great performance. I absolutely love this scent.

Unique Coffee!
I have been on a search for a coffee fragrance that I like for sometime. I find most to be too damn creamy, sweet and gourmand. Then I came across this one. I was very hesitant to try it because of the disappointment with other highly touted coffee frags. But I took a chance and was delighted. Leviathan is not a overy complex frag but really focuses on the coffee note.
The coffee note in this is a dark roasted coffee with just a single touch of sweetness. Combined with soft leather, sandalwood and cedar and a hint of musk.
Good longevity and projection. It may not be for everyone. It will stand out in a crowd, and will make you crave coffee like crazy. This is now a go too scent for me.

Dark Fougere
I love a good fougere, but I totally admit they can become a bit repetitive and boring.
Fougere Gothique offers a fougere with a darker character. It opens with a smoky damp earth, mixing with the classic fougere components. Eventually the smoke fades in the background and some sweetness, leather, and lavender move into the forefront. Leaving a wonderful fougere with accents of earth and a light ashyness.
Projection is very good for the first couple of hours. I get about 8 hours with this one. For me this is a all year round scent good for any occasion. However it may not be for those looking for a mass appeal fragrance. This is very approachable but will stand out.

Dirty Fresh
Looking at the description and ingredients of this fragrance you would anticipate a heavy, dark, smokey, industrial kind of fragrance. And that is right up my alley. However you do get the smoke, exhaust, leather, tar and oil notes. But they are mixed with this fresh bright open air feel. Which makes this actually more of a fresh scent.
I was very surprised by this. At first I was actually a little let down. I do not gravitate to fresh fragrances. But I kept testing it and actually grew to love it. It offers something very unique in the overcrowded space of fresh tobacco frags. I use this when I want something for warmer weather, or the office where a fresh frag is appropriate but still is unique enough to give a darker mysterious tone.
This is not for everyone, but for someone like me that likes dark challenging scents but needs a fresher option this is a great option.
