Angular Spaniard
The scent of the Spanish designer Roberto Verino starts citrusy fresh with a slightly bitter undertone. The grapefruit dissipates quickly, and the bitter heart with distinctly perceptible bergamot and cypress comes to the forefront. Additionally, a piercing, sharp, perhaps peppery note emerges. The violet surely hasn’t bloomed yet, because no matter how hard I tried to catch a whiff of it - it was in vain. This absolutely unsweetened, bitter masculine scent lingers for hours. It has nothing warm or soft about it and only late in the base does it become slightly more conciliatory, woody, and lightly spicy. The association of cold, harsh, and angular aligns with the cube-shaped design of the bottle. I envision a man of stature as the wearer, someone who knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to use his elbows. He is respected, distant, and cool, and one would never think to exchange confidences with him. Only late in the evening, when he comes home, does the strictness fall away from him. He embraces the woman of his heart, she rests her head on his chest, and the familiar scent of his rugged masculinity gives her a sense of security and comfort.

Homage to a Green Nature Boy
Basically, I am prepared for such fleeting relationships, knowing that a companion for a phase of life can suddenly disappear. Sometimes it’s overdue, sometimes it’s okay, and sometimes it’s too soon. I feel the latter in relation to you. You are one that I truly regret. Since we met on a hot summer day a few years ago and you convinced me with your freshness, which particularly rose to my nose in the most pleasant way while escaping the oppressive heat into air-conditioned rooms, you have been a frequent companion, especially during sports. Even when my athletic companions gradually became permeated with biting sweat through their performance clothing, your green shield was active and reliably enveloped me. I appreciated that you were simple, uncomplicated, somewhat herbaceous, and still perceptible to me even after a shower. With that, you have demonstrated remarkable resilience. Now you have fallen victim to assortment politics and will soon disappear from my life forever. I will enjoy the remaining time we have together and hope to find a worthy and equally favorable successor for you. Good bye, my strong Green, I will miss you...
