Right after spraying, it smells floral and a bit fruity. I can also pick up lavender. Later, the fruity notes fade and the flowers come through more. The sillage smells creamy and feminine. On the skin, it smells more beautiful to me. It is floral-spicy and a bit sweet-powdery. In my opinion, the scent is warm and certainly suitable for relaxation, thanks to the lavender. I can also faintly detect musk.

I like to wear this fragrance in higher temperatures. It smells pleasantly sweet, warm, and gourmand. I can detect vanilla and almond in it. In cold weather, I don't like the scent as much because a rather bitter note comes to the forefront. In warmth, I don't smell anything bitter, and overall this fragrance is less noticeable/intrusive at higher temperatures. The sweetness is then more subtle; in colder air, it clashes too much.
The longevity is very long, so you can enjoy it all day long.

When I first smelled this fragrance, it reminded me of something, but I don't know what. It has something fresh and smells clean-powdery. It also reminds me of freshly washed laundry and is somehow a bit nostalgic. However, on the skin, I don't really like it. The scent just doesn't suit the skin. This is certainly also because warmth doesn't match it at all, and such a fragrance smells somewhat unnatural on the skin. In contrast, I find that it smells very good on clothing and hair. This fragrance suits coolness, as it itself smells quite cool-fresh. It also smells quite strong at the beginning. I couldn't detect a scent progression here, only that it becomes weaker over time.
I find the aluminum can very practical, as it can't break easily and also protects the contents from sunlight.

When sprayed, it smells really great. Aquatic and fruity with a light citrus note. However, it unfortunately becomes weaker quite quickly. When I found that I could hardly perceive it after a while, I compared it to Spirit of Cashmere Musk. The latter didn't appeal to me as much when sprayed, but it performed better in the long run, as it still smells stronger even after a longer time. Now I tested it alone again and can still perceive a faint hint of the scent on my skin after a few hours. In the base, it is still slightly aquatic and a bit sweet. I find the scent very suitable for the female gender, as it is very gentle and sweet. There are also very harsh aquatic scents that are clearly masculine. I think it has a slightly uplifting effect and exudes this wonderful moist-mild freshness. The associations clearly lean towards palm beaches in tropical or Mediterranean regions with a gentle breeze, as it doesn't smell as cold and harsh as other (more masculine) aquatic scents. (The latter, on the other hand, evoke associations of colder coastal areas with stronger winds for me.)
I couldn't detect the floral notes very well. This is probably because they harmoniously blend into the overall composition and perhaps smell a bit watery themselves here.
The bottle is practical, and the color of the packaging, the lettering, and the liquid are in a beautiful blue-turquoise, with white-drawn flowers depicted on it.
All in all, I really like this scent.

When I first smelled the fragrance, it reminded me of vanilla pudding. It seemed a bit artificial-plastic to me as well. Otherwise, it is a very creamy vanilla. At first, I didn't like it that much, but with time, it got significantly better.
What’s interesting about this fragrance is that after longer storage, its scent changes. Now it is much sweeter, and the slight plastic tendency is completely gone. Instead, it smells very strongly of marzipan alongside the vanilla. This is truly a very nice sweet-gourmand scent. One could rather speak of it being "matured" than "gone off." So, a good tip for anyone who has it and doesn't like it much, just try it again later. Of course, one should generally have a desire for a sweet, heavy fragrance in this case.
The bottle doesn't look particularly great, but it has a stable-fitting cap, which is not always the case with La Rive fragrances. The paper packaging is very nicely designed. There is a white vanilla flower on a yellow background and a few golden shiny dots.
