This year we celebrate the 100th anniversary of Shalimar, which was launched during the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Paris (April to October). It is an extract (30 ml and sealed) from the late 1950s (the packaging with coffee beans and the monochrome label at the base, ending with the reference: "...magasins de Paris.", allow its production to be placed between 1957 and 1960). A darker "cognac" color is also a good sign. The new versions, modern, reformulated, IFRA/EU compliant and undoubtedly degraded, will never match the vintage versions launched before the 1980s. It is considered that, in terms of aroma, the strain from the 1950s is the best. Better even than the year in which it was produced.
