Proof that perfumes age just like tawny port.
The first couple of wearings, it was a subtle and muddled mess of notes and accords fighting for supremacy. The overbearing seaweed note seemed to catch me and others off guard. Being one of ten bottles, few of them selling quickly, I decided I'd hold on to mine.

Over a week, the seaweed began to fade into the ambergris which was eating it all up. The scrapings of a still damp tawny barrel came out and out, and the mechanics shop greased up tire and oil change vibe took over.

I love this fragrance with all my heart and I'm glad I didn't sell it. It's aged so well over time, fully settled, fully open.

This fragrance is for splitting a bottle of wine and working the undercarriage of a great ship. It keeps on evolving and I love it for that.
