TILT!
It is generally a pleasantly fresh and quite synthetic fragrance. It has some wood, it has powder, it has something spicy, it has something fruity bubble-gummy, it has something like Coca Cola, it has something metallic... and all this goes back and forth as if your nose is a ball and shakes left and right in Mr. Quentin's pinball machine. Some might find it a great ride. I tried to like it since the majority here agrees that it is a stellar fragrance, but I find it headache/ tilt inducing.

Sprayed a piece of paper and got it to my girlfriend to smell it (she loves heavy vintage 80s smells, aldehydes and classic macho perfumes). She could not stand it so she threw it in an already full garbage bin under the kitchen sink. After a couple of minutes she told me to throw the garbage bag because the entire kitchen was smelling Bois Imperial! Well.. I could not find a better way to answer the question about projection.

A sidenote. I found that the metallic phase of Bois Imperial resembles quite a bit Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver Parfum which I liked.

Great longevity and even greater price tag.

Is it possible to milk a musk?
Is it possible to milk a musk?
Of course you can!
And what do you get?
Helloooo! Milk Musk!

Milky smooth vanilla, with a divine discreet sourness from the combo benzoin and elemi (I really like those notes), slightly spicy without any overbearing amberish note, extremely relaxing, cuddly and addicting beyond measure..

If you ever find yourself suffering from insomnia, make sure to count lambs who can produce milk musk.. after counting no more than eight, you will fall asleep..

Great duration! 8 plus hours

Darth Vader without the helmet..
By the name and the juice color I was already negatively biased.. I have not seen the notes..

The initial spray justified me..

In the first 20 minutes what I get is a dirty botanical medicinal Eucalyptus ( while walking outside I usually cut a leaf and rub it in my hands and smell it), Vicks Vaporub, warm wax and a little oregano.. An ancient Greek tragedy.. Later on I can feel a sour amber, a woody note, cold mint and most importantly something truly sparklingly bright and pleasant (I guess its the tobacco).. Hmmm weird I thought.. like fighting its own dark nature..

Checking out now the notes..Among others I see canabis (I am not familiar with the note..I guess the anti-drug splash screen on the coin operated arcade machines in the 80's and 90's were deeply imprinted on my subconscious..haha) and also an alternative to Black Afgano which I also haven't tried (neither I will get out of my way to try it.. I simply dont care about this particular house)

If Darth Vader were wearing encre noir at kindergarden, I guess he will wear this after finishing the university.

And please dont be fooled by the dark appearance and the electronic breathing sound. Once the dark helmet is off (and you wont need to lose an arm in combat), you can see the overwhelming light of his soul..

Really threw me off guard. Totally recommended! And it is coming from a guy who usually wears light fragrances.

The Pencil Forgives..
I like using a pencil since I was a little kid.. The pen also does the same job, but you can not correct what you have already written without making a smudge first and writing it again..

The pencil forgives.. it can walk on its toes.. it can transition from pale to bold depending on how much you are going to press it against the paper.. it can be silent like a ninja or ferociously loud..

A playful pencil that can draw black teeth on perfectly sterile posters or French moustaches on mythically expensive paintings.. just because it is fun to do..

A pencil next to a blank A4 paper on a beautiful thick wooden table and a glass of buttery milk..

I am 41 years old and I still use a pencil..

One of the most beautiful scents I have ever experienced..

10/10

Ps A small piece of advice.. spray it on clothes rather on skin.. it lasts for days.

Ten Origami
I once met a girl. She was out of my reach for so many reasons. The path seemed so rough, bummpy, uninviting but I decided to give my best shot, no matter her reluctance and the cold shiver of the poisonous phrase: "I can't see this thing working beyond of just a casual friendship."

The beginning.
I tried to give her my phone number one day, but she told me she wasn't carrying it with her to write it down. (way later on I found she wasn't lying, but I didn't know at that point). So I figured out a nice way of giving her my number the next time I accidently bump on her while she would walk her dog in a near big forest in our neighborhood. (I also have a dog)

My phone consists of ten numbers so I made a total of 10 origami with a number on them. Each time we run accidently on each other, I was giving her one. (I was carrying an origami with me everytime in case I would see her. Had to be also extra careful not creasing it in my jacket's pocket)
Couple of weeks later after the last origami was given, she figured out that the numbers on the origami was for a phone and sent me a thank you message. Now I had her number. Our (dog) encounters stopped being accidental, but she was still very absolutely intrasigent about being anything but friends.
Less than three months later, I had conquered her mind with all the things I did for her.

Our first night together.
Ha.. don't expect any saucy details, but I can so vividly remember how much she wanted me and ofcourse her scent that night. In some other circumstances I wouldn't like this perfume. It was like a pungent greeny slightly flowery savage pachouli which had been meticulously laundered and then persistently ironed just before the point to be burned. God.. all that night's imagery, and that smell. The transformative smell of a woman's no to a yes, using your mind, your soul and your imagination. Conquer her mind and from that point it is really downhill.

True story people.
