I cannot stop sniffing my arm, it’s become a problem
My favorite scents have always been ones that make me smell edible and boy does this deliver. Very sweet milky candy scent; the most forward notes on first dry down are the raspberry and chewy candy. So delightful and sugary, the sweet candy notes really lend it a sense of nostalgia, even after it’s settled and moves more into the tonka bean. Bears a striking resemblance in my mind to the single packs of raspberry Hi-Chews; the feeling of taking them in your lunch box on a field trip and everybody fighting for one of the 6 little pieces. A lot of perfumes I become scent blind to minutes after application, but this is still recognizably floating around me 4 hours after spraying. This brand has become a staple in my sample collection because it’s always a standout in my orders for their smooth transition from listed scent notes to actual wear/feel, and this one is no different for me.
Would recommend if you’re looking for a wearable sweet scent that smells edible but doesn’t pull as a cheap body spray scent on the skin. Will for sure be adding to my list of full bottle buys.
the scent i dream of everynight & day
A very important preface: I have always yearned to smell like the bags of melon candy you get at your local Asian grocery store; opening the bag and being hit with the delightful sweet smell of the hard candy discs inside. This is that bottled. I truly cannot convey how perfectly sweet and fruity this scent is; the first scent of mine that translates perfectly from listed scent notes, to first in the bottle impressions, to wear test. It's the perfect honeydew melon scent with a soft lactonic undertone that completely wipes away any bodyspray qualities it may have, imagine if you stirred sweet cream into your melon soda. If I could choose any scent to taste like--in a non-cannibalistic way--it would be this. If I was being mugged and forced to say anything bad about this perfume it would have to be the longevity, but even 3 hours past application I still get compliments.
rebuyable cheap fresh grape scent
If you want to smell like a bundle of freshly washed green grapes this is for you. Very juicy bubbly scent with an undertone of amber to balance it out; none of the other notes come through very strongly for me, either in the bottle or on my skin. But I think it really works well in its favor, lasts for 3-4 hours; rather amazing for the price all considering. An easy grab both by itself and to layer with a more concentrated fruit scent for a fruit salad feel, or just to keep in your bag to refresh throughout the day. Will likely buy the rest of their collection in this scent.
Popular for a reason
Kerosene as a brand has always had very interesting scent notes sprinkled into their vast collection; this one was an instant first love for me. On first spray it engulfs you and whatever space you're in; I don't tend to enjoy perfumes that swamp you but with this, it's so sweet and delightful it becomes a soft airy perfume duvet that wholly wraps around you. You can pick out the lemon if you really search for it, but I can really sift out the waffle cone, caramel, and honey. On dry down it becomes a universally agreeable vanilla gourmand that still retains the caramel drizzle ontop.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice sweet--but not too sweet--tea gourmand.
symphonies of sucrose
if i walked by someone on the street and they smelled like this call me hannibal lecter the way im gobbling them up. starts off as a big bowl of sparkling candies in the hot summer sun, melting down to form a gluttonous concoction of childhood glee. it dries down into this sweet sort of amber vanilla, I only get the sour scent if im sniffing my wrist directly and even then it's not harsh or appalling. truly just a scent that makes you feel bubbly all around.
