Zoologist Cow - Pure Pastoral Comfort and Coziness.

Cold country milk. Not a dessert, not a milkshake, not a gourmand. Fresh milk that has been kept somewhere cool, perhaps in an old hayloft or country icehouse, absorbing the smell of hay and fresh grass. Then comes this strange minty, eucalyptus-like milkiness. The milk is still there, but now it feels almost refreshing.

The whole fragrance is incredibly pastoral and artisanal to me. An early summer morning in the countryside, somewhere far away from the city. Cool air, grass, hay, greenery and fresh milk.

Later, there’s talc, Nivea cream and a soft, clean soapiness, while that cool grassy milkiness stays almost until the end. In the base, I get soap, cream, freshly cut grass, eucalyptus and milky sandalwood. There is something so peaceful about its simplicity. Cow never seems to be trying too hard to impress you. It’s soothing, almost lullaby-like, yet somehow refreshing at the same time. More than anything, it reminds me of visiting my grandmother in the countryside. She hugs you, then gives you a glass of fresh milk straight from the cow. The comfort here isn’t sweet or gourmand. It’s the comfort of a cool summer morning, grass and hay, fresh milk and feeling completely safe.

Pure pastoral comfort.
