absolutely love this one. i didn't actually purchase it until really recently since i have snowflakes and cashmere, which is very very similar, but this is just a bit fresher and more floral. it's a perfect year-round scent that's got enough depth for cooler weather but enough floral freshness for spring. it smells a bit generic but it's also got a creamy depth and a general coziness that's hard to dislike. it's perfume-like but sooo cozy and lovely. longevity and performance are on the stronger side for victoria's secret's mists surprisingly too!

i'm surprised this was released in the cooler weather, since this whole collection seems more like a spring collection than a fall collection to me. either way, bare vanilla flankers are always a safe blind buy for me. this is slightly lighter and not as deep as the original, and it has a little bit of a bubblegum-like, candy quality to it that's unexpected. the sandalwood is barely there and just contributes to the clean and candy-feeling by giving it a powdery quality with a smooth (not smoky or masculine) woodiness. it's a gorgeous scent but it's so so light. it feels like a lighter, but maybe a little classier, version of the og.

velvet petals flankers tend to be pretty different from the og, but thankfully this one is relatively similar. it's a bit fluffier and less dense than the og overall, and opens up with a brighter floral that's a little more sugary and creamy. however, i feel like the drydown of this is nuttier than the og, and honestly has qualities that reminds me a little bit of the recent launch of vanilla bean & macadamia. this is a perfect scent for transitioning between warm and cool seasons, and the longevity and projection are decent but nothing outrageously weak or strong.

i'm not sure if there was a labeling error with this fragrance, since i know that that's happened with some vs scents before, but i don't get hot cocoa vibes from this at all. if anything, i feel like this would layer well with the recently launched glazed warm & cozy. like others have said, this is a clean, sweet scent with some indistinct fruity/floral notes and a nice lactonic base. it's a nice scent, don't get me wrong, but it's nothing like the marketing for the notes.

i recently got a literally $5 dupe of eilish from a local discount store ("united scents delish" if you're interested!) and after falling in love with the scent (not so much the performance), i knew i wanted to commit to getting this since i've heard so much about it--especially since it was on sale for less than $30! it's exactly what i wanted--basically the same scent, just stronger, better performing, deeper, and sweeter. overall, it's still a very simple composition that has a clean, nostalgic quality to it in the opening with a sweet, vanilla and chocolate drydown. it reminds me a bit of sunscreen (maybe coppertone? not sure) but i normally hate sunscreen scents and i'm a fall/winter scent lover, so don't let that deter you because i still love this! it just gives it a slight cleanness that makes it a gourmand that's not too overwhelming, suitable for day-to-night wear. there are a few caveats with this though--even though the longevity on this is amazing, the projection is surprisingly subtle, although that might change with more maceration but it's been a while already. it also tends to leave a pretty significant oily residue when you apply, so be mindful of that. also, i ordered my bottle on amazon and personally, my cap arrived damaged. it still works fine but the inner piece slides out and has to be pushed back in after the perfume is opened.
