Oct 26-30 is (unofficially) Halloween week!

Hi all, creating a thread for all those wishing to wear some spooky perfumes this week for Halloween! I know we've decided to maintain a biweekly schedule, but some users mentioned wearing Halloween perfumes for this week, so please feel free to share what you're wearing!

It can be bone chilling, maybe something marigold related for dia de los meuertos, or candy galore! Whatever Halloween means to you :)

Halloween isn't really a thing here, but we do have an equivalent called kekri/keyri which is both a harvest celebration and a transitional holiday from autumn to winter. And like in many pagan belief systems, transitional times are when the veil between the material and the immaterial is the thinnest so if you're gonna be visited by a spirit, kekri is a likely time.

Also fun fact, the word for harvested crops and especially grain literally translates to "life". That creates a cool contrast between the harvest season and the coming winter since winter is associated with death.

Anyway none of that is associated with perfume I am just really into folklore and old traditions. 😅 I'll make another comment with my perfume ideas for the week.

Slut for October is a mood ring of a fragrance on me. Sometimes it's lightly smoky with a balsamic sweetness that's great for fall, and other times it wants to be bbq sauce. The art is delightful, though.
