Me neither, Cryptic. I was thinking of rulers of Kashmir (Cashmere wood) which also ties in with the Maharaja clue but ...I end up at "Night Garden - Kasmir Musk" by Crabtree & Evelyn which doesn't quite fit.

I went that route also but didn't get far, Triffid. I was playing around with alternate spellings such as "Casmir" by Chopard but I didn't come up with anything I liked. :/
