Some thoughts about cats and dogs

That poor broken-hearted beastie.

There's a house in Santa Barbara that has a statue of a dog in the front yard. The dog saved a child from drowning -- I think that's the story -- and they honored him/her with a statue. They even decorate it for the holidays.

I must share:

After 18 years of life, my oldest cat decided that the vacuum cleaner is now A-OK.

He stopped running from it sometime last year. If I start it up when he's on the bed, he just hangs out on the bed, instead of sprinting out of the room.

Now, at 19 years of age, he's made an even deeper peace with it. As I was vacuuming the stairs, he casually walked UP the stairs right next to the vacuum. This is meaningful because there is nothing he NEEDS upstairs, he could live his entire life downstairs if necessary. This milestone only took 19 years.

Bahwahahahahahah Wolf you do keep me laughing and that is good.

"I ate the rainbows" might be the funniest dog confession I've ever heard.

- and the associations are easy. Cats themselves don't smell. They are noble creatures. (Egyptian statues).

Hardly someone would open a topic, "Which perfume fits your dog?" because dogs are sometimes smelly, get into smelly things and need a bath.
