I was just about to do some Christmas shopping and was looking on the BVLGARI website and I saw that all the LA GEMME line had 'new' tags on the photos...new? I have Le Gemme - Falkar , and VIP samples of
Le Gemme - Kobraa , and
Le Gemme - Azaran , these are hardly new. Looking closer I saw the bottles now have rectangular nameplates on the bottom front, and a new 60ml size, and the large bottles are now 125ml. Oh that's great I thought, seems the price had pretty much stayed the same for the large bottle. Then I decided to check the ingredients...the older bottles all list the ingredients as-alcohol-parfum-water...the new bottles have-alcohol-water-parfum. Not looking good. Then I went in search of the old boxes, I only found the KOBRAA and sure enough different formula, different ingredients, in a different order. Not really that worried as the FALKAR was the only one I loved and I think my bottle is still 70% full, it's 69% volume as well. Will go to investigate in store. However this trend of €400 perfumes getting watered down is not something I will participate in, BVLGARI La Gemme had stunning bottles, with great scents at inflated prices that with a discount were great, now I think I will pass on the line.
