ETA of proposed perfumes? 0

I joined Parfumo so I could add some fragrances that weren't in the database, but I'm not sure if I did it correctly. I received a stern note to add screenshots of everything, so I tried to do so...

Experienced researchers/proposers, what is a general time frame for this process? I've actually tested this fragrance, and have been drafting an in-depth review, but I don't want to make anyone feel like I'm jumping the gun or rushing it.

It's 1 in the morning, hopefully what I've just said makes sense. If not, I can try to explain once I've had some sleep. ^^

It's a very cryptic process, and the admins are blunt to the point of rudeness. There have been a few first-time submitters who have taken to the forum to complain about the process and the disposition of the admins. Might be intentional, because they don't want anyone and everyone proposing bad data.

One thing that is not obvious (it's in a tutorial somewhere, but not clear at all on the actual submission page) is that you must provide screenshots and sources for everything. These sources cannot be Fragrantica, or rumor sites like I Fragrance. It must be either from the brand itself (brand website, promotional materials emailed to you, a post/story on the brand's official Instagram, etc) or a legitimate storefront like Harrods. The sources provided must cover all of the information you included. If you said it is a female-oriented fragrance, it has to say the same on the website/source. If you included the year of release, it must be documented somewhere as well (usually a social media post is good for that since they have timestamps). Any web link you provide must be accompanied by screenshots highlighting the information you provided. This is so we can keep the source image for reference, even if the site goes down or the link URL changes.

The time frame is usually dependent on the "importance" of the fragrance. If it's a huge brand that everyone is waiting for the new release to drop, they don't take more than a couple of days. I've waited a couple of weeks sometimes for stuff that no one is really concerned with. But they get to it eventually. Adding a new brand/house also takes a while. Also, I've been told they have to wait until it officially goes on sale to add it to the database sometimes, but sometimes it is added before it goes on sale with a "cooldown" period where no one can review the fragrance until it is released. I'm not sure why this only happens sometimes but I've noticed it happens more with the "important" frags.

I agree, some of the admin's comments are not helpful at all, and some are blunt and rude. I've tried to submit two fragrances, and the interface auto translates the notes I put to German. Then they ding me for not having the right notes in there. Last time they have just closed the submission with no comments or reason. Just closed with a reprimand to follow the standard. Well, I read the standards, and I obviously don't know what I am missing or doing wrong. So why don't you tell what I am missing, and I'll fix it. Stop closing the requests and allow me to learn what needs to be done by providing some real feedback.
