Habanita mystery

Hi everyone!

I need helping solving a puzzle concerning Habanita (1924) Eau de Toilette and Habanita (1988) Eau de Toilette

A friend recently sent me a split from a 1988 version bottle he owns. However, the smell we both feel is a much better match to the piramid of the 1924 version, with raspberry, iris and leather.

Any idea on how can this be? I'm so confused.
