Middle Eastern brands based on quality and consistency

Middle Eastern brands based on quality and consistency 0

I have been in the fragrance hobby for about 5 months. Regularly going through Reddit, Fragrantica and Parfumo I ended up forming my own mental ranking of Middle Eastern clone houses based on their overall quality and consistency.

Its like a "subconscious" list formed after months of looking at reviews/comments.

I am curious to know what you guys think of this ranking. And how would you rank them?

Top Tier:

1. Swiss Arabian

2. Ibraheem AlQurashi

3. Ahmed Al Maghribi

4. Maison Asrar

5. Afnan

Mid Tier:

1. French Avenue

2. Rasasi

3. Arabiyat prestige

4. Alharamain

5. Ajmal

Low Tier

1. Lattafa (quality inconsistency)

2. Armaf

3. The rest

This is only based on blend quality and performance consistency. Not scent profile.

From the brands you mentioned I would put Ajmal on the first place. From the little I´ve read and watched in YT, Ajmal is a family owned Indian company with decades long tradition of producing perfume oils including oud. They are very important in the Middle Eastern market.

I have only two perfumes from Rasasi, from the Boruzz line "Boruzz - Asrar Indonesia | Rasasi" and "Boruzz - Lamaat Musk Tabriz | Rasasi" so I haven't experienced their most popular perfumes like La Yuqawam pour Femme or Hawas for Him so I can´t really speak say about the quality of the ingredients of the brand in general. About the performance of the ones I have I can say that these perfumes are quite strong and long lasting. It´s ONE spray max or you'll be suffocating people around you.

Unfortunately, I haven't tried any of the other brands in your list.

I don’t agree with putting Armaf and Lattafa in the low tier. I’ve tried several perfumes from both brands myself, like Club de Nuit Intense Man Eau de Toilette and Khamrah and honestly, they perform really well.
You can also try them and then judge for yourself. These two brands have some fragrances that are all-time favourites, suitable for all occasions, and they are also very long-lasting.
