... JuliaGhoulia Remedios Varo is probably my favorite artist. Symbolism is my favorite movement; Hugo Simberg, Carlos Schwabe, and John Everett Millais are my top 3 Symbolists. But I think Varo has to be my #1 overall. I love the work of Remedios Varo!

... I went through a similar treasure hunt during 2020-2021, my preferred cherry perfume at that time was "Aeternitas | Franck Muller". If you like cherry and cinnamon try "Khaltat Night (Eau de Parfum) | Attar Collection". Very expensive but wort testing "Cherry Oud | Guerlain"

I think you have a good list to try, for the spicy-amber category I would add "Ambre Nuit (Eau de Parfum) | Dior" , for the iris try "Bois d'Argent (Eau de Parfum) | Dior" and the fresh-spicy "Bois Impérial (Eau de Parfum) | Essential Parfums" Now, I don't have a good suggestions for the "smoky mezcal" but I remember smelling "Sans Fleurs | Bortnikoff". The notes say rum and oud, but to my nose it is pure whiskey, dry as heck. No sweetness at all.

For international perfumeries take a look at the site “your perfume guide”. In Berlin, i would suggest 15 west and KaDeWe. Darmstadt “woodberg”.
