What smells that repells you?

gasoline
hang-over-sweat
old flower vase water
ammoniac
rubber

nh3, h2s, mercaptane, amines, lots of organic solvents (acetone...) etc.
rotten fish
rotten eggs
excrements, especially of carnivore
(I think horse manure is not that bad, cow shit is worse and pig's is worst)

Today a friend of mine told me that he loved the smell of acetone. Well, tastes are really diffent I guess. And he thinks I'm crazy because I like the smell of horses a lot.

Now we know: your nose is capable of very fine and nuanced discriminations!!!

There are significant differences! And pig shit is the worst of all!

Fish (disgusting to the core)

Body odours : old sweat and greasy hair (gross, gross, gross - and avoidable)

Garbage(yuk)

Mouth odour (rotting teeth and/or alcoholic breath)

Unwashed dogs (owners: please bathe your cutie more often *g*)

Household cleaners with cheap citric fragrance

Puke (the very thought of it is awful)

Boiled eggs (that sulphuric smell peels my nails off)
Strangely, to me the smell of excrements seems not even close to the ones in my listing above....cannot tell why.

Vomit is quite bad too, even my own

....a lot more, but I think these are the ones that bother me most.

Shortly after I became vegan, I began to recognize how bad the smell of pork is.
Other meat smells bad too, but pork is disgusting.

Most of all:
The stench outside (especially on the backside) of a fast food restaurant. McDonalds is a great example.

Aside from the kind of gross stuff that nauseates everybody, I get queasy from the smell of microwaved popcorn. A few people at work love that shite and are always making/incinerating it. I've discovered that if I unplug the microwave, it usually takes them a while to figure out whats wrong and correct it, so I get a few day's olfactory peace out of each unplugging.

Decomposing Human Flesh. That beats most, especially when it's diseased.

Bodily waste like urine, sweat, vomit, and feces.

Actually any kind of decomposing bacteria is pretty disgusting.

Decomposing Sea Life is a close second sometimes.

Gasoline, Turpentine, Acetone, Ammonia, Vinegar, Bleach, Hot Asphalt, Sulfur, Saltpeter, Mold.

Apart from things like vomit etc, I'll just second the pork. Yuckety yuck!
And intestines used in cooking.
And there's this one type of street food in China, not sure what exactly goes in there, as I always cross the road at the first sign of stench, but it smells like dirty panties at foghorn level. Horryfying.

Olives

Poop in all forms; even at work, I gag when I smell it.

From my opinion, the following are the worst smells: calcium hydroxide fumes, rotten meat, cat and dog feces and skunk secretions. Luckily there are perfumes that can help us forget the horrible smells.
