Is it summer yet? your favourites when temperatures surge
...I dont really rotate fragrances for the seasons. Call me crazy but I usually wear whatever/whenever. Crazy, I know. But I will try to make myself lean more towards seasonal fragrances once in a while. That being the case, I will wear:Hermes Un Jardin Sur Le ToitHermes Sur Le NilMost of my Jo MalonesMarc Jacobs RainMarc Jacobs BiscottiMarc Jacobs GingerValentino Valentina

Which perfume will be your next buy ?
...I try so hard to NOT increase the size of my wardrobe, but I really think that my life wont be complete until I get Guerlain Sous Le Vent. OK.... my perfume collection wont be complete is more accurate. Anyway, I think I'm going to take the plunge and purchase this. I've wanted it for such a long time. I wanted to get it while in Vegas earlier this week, but someone was with me when I visited the boutique and I dont like for people to know my business. If I spend over $300 for a fragrance, that is my secret. Anyway, the SA said that if I get it, I should do so during the first week of June because there will be an event and she's going to have lots of goodies and GWPs. Sous Le Vent will be mine SOOOOOOOON!!!!

What perfume have you bought recently?
...Yesterday I purchased:Guerlain La Petite Robe Noir (2009 version) - full bottleHermessence Amber Narguile - 15 mlHermessence Poivre Samarcande - 15 mlHermessence Santal Massoia - 15 mlHermessence Vetiver Tonka - 15 mlI was in Las Vegas and visited the boutiques and I just HAD to purchase something. I intended to get the full size Hermes Ambre Narguile, but I fell in love with the other 3 fragrances and decided that a 15 ml of each was best so that I'd have no regrets for leaving one of them behind. I'm sure I'll still end up with a fb of Ambre Narguile some day soon because that is really an amazing fragrance and the 15 ml will be gone soon. The fragrance shopping choices in Las Vegas is unbelievable!!!! I cant wait to go back.

Which perfume will be your next buy ?
...I was hoping not to purchase anything else for a long time since my wardrobe has gotten so huge. However, I'll be in Las Vegas next week. It seems wrong to go there and not buy something. All those wonderful places to buy fragrances!! I'd be crazy to resist. I just have to figure out what I really want.....hmmmmmm.

Scent of the Day
...I'm in Eau de New York by Bond No 9. I overlook this fragrance so much for some reason, but whenever I decide to wear it, I fall in love all over again. I'm going to try to wear this one a lot more this summer.

Comments on perfumes: compliments and insults
...I received a compliment on today. I was shopping and a lady came up to me and said "I dont know what perfume you're wearing, but you're wearing it very well." It was Tauer LDDM. That was kind of nice to hear. LDDM has always been one of my favorites anyway. I cant seem to get enough of it. One other fragrance that seems to get compliments each time I wear it is Tom Ford's Black Orchid. Its weird because I have never worn that without someone making a positive comment about it. No other fragrance of mine gets that much attention.

Say hello and/or introduce yourself (if you like)
by Twjb | Parfumo Community
Hello everyone!!!
...Is this post still alive? I couldnt find it on its own... I found it as a link inside of another post. Anyway, I wanted to introduce myself. I'm Tracey and I'm a member on a few other boards but I dont really post very much on any of them. I just lurk. I hope to be able to join in on the conversations here sometimes, but I guess I'll see how that goes. I never really post or contribute on other boards because so many of the members are so very knowlegeable about fragrances and can dissect them accurately and amazingly. I do not find this intimidating. In fact, I admire those that can do this. The knowledge that some of the members have leave me speechless and I am often blown away by their expertise. However, I cant contribute to those types of conversations. I dont know enough to add anything relevant. But I'm totally okay with that.I love fragrances but I dont care to delve too deeply into how they were made; what notes blend well together; whether or not the flowers were flown in from France under the midnight sky..... I just love fragrance for what it is and how it is. I dont care about its roots. I just love a good fragrance that has decent longevity and sillage. This being my situation, is there a place for someone like me on this board? :) Anyway, I am very glad to be here and I hope to have the opportunity to join in on the chats in some capacity.
