Storing & Organising Your Perfumes
by Sherapop | Perfumes & Brands
...MNQ:Sherapop:I need to come up with a system, actually. Many of my perfume are stored in an armoire; others are in various chest of drawers. I also have many on bookshelves, but I tend to only put opaque bottles out on display like that.Yes, I could really use a good system, as I sometimes cannot locate a perfume that I really want to wear! :roll:I hear you  someone must've nailed a decent system?! I've practically doubled fbs and am resisting getting a bigger shelf, as I know I'll just fill it up!!!Sherapop in your armoire how do you group them? Even debating trying bottle-colour co-ordination but that maybe a little OCD step too far! lolSorry to say that the "grouping" in my armoire is completely arbitrary. Fortunately, I have a good visual memory, so I can usually locate a classic by following my vague feeling of approximately where it is. But outside the armoire (which holds my oldest perfumes), it's anyone's guess where my newer acquistions may be hiding!

...I just found my Michael Storer samples. Yvette is beautiful! A sweet floral with detectable heliotrope and interesting oakmoss and tarragon facets.

...I would say that many of the creations of the house of Serge Lutens fit your description. Admirable, yes. Wearable by me? Very unclear.

...Apicius:Sherapop, I think it is best if you just put a link to your external blog at your blog at Perfumo. Additionally, I will post a recommendation for http://aromierotici.blogspot.com/ and http://salondeparfum-sherapop.blogspot.com/ in the German Parfumo. Thanks so much! 8)

invitation to philosophize about perfume
by Sherapop | Perfumes & Brands
...Thanks, Eternity, for pointing out the blog feature here at parfumo!I'm very impressed with this site and am happy that Aromierotici pointed me this way by recommending parfumo and linking you prominently from Il Mondo di Odore:http://aromierotici.blogspot.com/As for your suggestion about the salon de parfum posts, I've given this some thought and have decided that since the salon is supposed to be a place for discussion (not my monologues -;)), it might be difficult logistically to manage responses to the comments simultaneously at two different sites. So I think that what I'll post in the blog here is that there is a new post, but I'll also include a link to parfumo at the salon, so that it is easy to return. What do you think about that idea?
