...I know a lot of you have, and obviously studied perfumery more extensively. But I just took a class at Tijon in La Jolla, California, and it was wonderful. I even made my own potion using 15 different essential oils.

...A couple days ago and after sampling it I ordered Juliette Has a Gun, "Not a Perfume", and am patiently waiting for it to arrive. So far JHAG is my fav niche perfume house. Going to sample "Vengeance Extreme" again because I think I have to have it also.Just like Dig, I sample two every day, only I do it in the morning.I love being obsessed about this new hobby.

...When deciding if you want a perfume, is it a positive reaction to all the levels of the notes, or some combination (for example: you really don't care about the top and middle, but if you love the base/dry-down then you want it)?I'm experiencing a lot of mixed feelings about perfumes mostly because I will not love the top two levels of notes, but love the dry-down. After all one has to get through the first two stages, but that takes a couple hours at least, so do I want to smell like crap for a while?Or do you just wait until you find one where you love all three levels?Thank you all!

...I spray on the inside and outside of my wrists once for each because it seems to be the only place where I can smell it, and keep whiffing that area throughout the day. It puts me in a better mood.
