... You should look into Alkemia and Pineward if you haven't come across them yet. Both are fairly affordable and make use of "weird" notes and fantasy accords, but Pineward is more specifically inspired by forests and does some fascinating things with woody scents (e.g. Gristmill)

... Craig, mid 20s, Midwest USA. Like @Chrysoptera I'm in healthcare and enjoy fragrance in a forbidden fruit way.
