"Tola" is the name for an ancient unit of measurement. While it used to correspond to a silver rupee (11.7g), today it is only used as a unit to weigh rare and precious products.
But "Tola" is also a perfume brand founded by Dhaher Bin Dhaher in 2010, which is in the tradition of Arabic perfumes and combines classical and avant-garde elements.
Perfumes have always characterized Dhaher bin Dhaher's life. His mother and sisters were engaged in the production of bakhoor (incense) and perfumed oils, a tradition that had been cultivated in that family for generations.
Inspired by this, Dhaher Bin Dhaher also began experimenting with perfumes and new interpretations of fragrances. His goal was to create perfumes that pay homage to the Arab world and also incorporate traditional fragrances, but at the same time align with current international standards for luxury perfumes. All of his creations are inspired by travel as well as the past and memories.
Currently, the brand, whose fragrances the founder himself describes as "Authentic, original and artistic", is working on a Europe-wide distribution.
