My still young devotion to perfume flickered in the autumn. Since then, I have tested many fragrances. Most of them are rather suited for the cold seasons.
Capri, however, has consciously found its way into my collection. The notes sounded so exciting, and I wanted to bring the next summer home.
My first impression of Capri was not so good at all. Refreshing wipe. It was an icy cold day.
After a few weeks, I tested the fragrance again - and it was all over for me.
Grated orange peel including a bit of the white pith. Unsweet. Bitter. Zesty grapefruit and a hint of dry spices. Green. The juniper and cardamom are present.
The scent is incredibly cool and yet cheerful. Incredibly stylish. Vacation - but not in the tropics. The name is a perfect choice.
On the skin, Capri becomes creamier after a while; warmth can be sensed. The flowers frame its development. Freshness remains intact.
For these notes, the longevity is above average, though not outstanding.
A fragrance that unites summer, carefreeness, and style. Refreshing, but not a refreshing wipe. Dreamy!
