Acqua Colonia Intense - Refreshing Lagoons of Laos 4711 2021

It really does smell very richly of all kinds of fruit, flowers and fine woods. Just as I can imagine it in lushly planted farm gardens in late summer / early fall.
There are fresh, ripe cucumbers, apples that are about to be harvested, a pond where the water lilies are in bloom, plenty of roses - some climbing up trellises and others standing as shrubs between the beds, framed by lavender for natural "aphid protection".
"Musk mallows" are just as important as "sleeping violets", which only let their sweetly scented leaves peek out from between the ivy. Older trees provide shade and a little cooling in hot weather. At the back, next to a wooden garden shed, a slightly gnarled jasmine bush on either side makes every effort to spread its green-floral, delicately sweet fragrance. I like to linger on a garden bench and enjoy the olfactory, visual and acoustic scenery!
Truly a powerful, long-lasting fragrance that is hearty AND sweet--without going over the top :-))
