My favorite fragrance for over 10 years
Abercrombie & Fitch no. 8 is a rather unknown fragrance and in my opinion also a very underrated one. The first time I bought it was when I was 15, back then I was actually looking for the cheesy A&F signature store scent and I got lost. Lucky me! Since then, I've used up tons of bottles and still get compliments on the scent regularly. Every now and then I've gotten scared it might go out of stock and have been looking for fragrances that come close to it ever since. I don't know what it is, it never fails to enchant me and those around me. It's more suited for everyday wear, but even at parties you seem to notice it in the room. For me, the perfume is magical and although I love trying it out, I keep coming back to it because it has come to belong to me and represent me as I am.
About the fragrance itself: It is rather refreshing, but not too citrusy; I hardly smell out the vanilla if at all, it is rather the freesias and the mandarin that work in combination with the musk.
Maybe it's not the most compelling scent for everyone and I only love it so much because I've been wearing it for years, but I wouldn't want to miss it and hope it stays with me for a long time
