A nice little water - nothing more.
Abercrombiehot or #abercrombiehot (as it was marketed) had interested me for a while due to its notes and its similarity to Aqva Marine, so I finally got it recently at a much cheaper price than Amazon, etc. Here is my short, somewhat less affectionate comment.
Top: The top note reminds me of warm water in a spa or the scent of thermal baths, but also of the sea. In the community, the fragrance was supposedly dismissed as the scent of a sliced cucumber, but here coconut, amber, and partly musk are already present.
The scent itself is very reminiscent of Aqva Marine.
Heart: The cucumber takes a bit more of a backseat, the musk note (from Fierce?) becomes noticeably more recognizable and blends pleasantly with the freshness of the cucumber. Coconut and amber remain clearly present.
Base: Synthetic mush of coconut and amber.
The performance of this fragrance is mediocre to poor on my skin.
Conclusion: I didn't really expect much from this fragrance and didn't really get much either. It is indeed a nice, warm sea water scent that is definitely a crowd-pleaser. If I hadn't gotten it at such a good price, I wouldn't have bought it. I do like the scent and will wear it on relaxed summer days, but I would rather advise against a purchase.
