My Entry to the World of Perfume(o)
How it all began...a rainy day - shopping in the gallery in my home town.

It was clear that my previous perfumes (see "I had") were slowly coming to an end - I needed something new. So I went to the local perfumery and had a look around without obligation.
The choice was (due to the time of year) fresh, summery fragrances, maybe another blue one, they are usually like that, according to experience. I didn't know much more at that point.
So I looked around a bit and tried out how to do it - fragrance strips and 1x through from front to back, everything I didn't (yet) know and that was pretty much everything. From Artisan Blu by John Varvatos, which was quite far in front, to Bleu de Chanel, various versions, Yves Saint Laurent various etc. In short, I was completely overwhelmed by the range of fragrances on offer and my approach, so I...well, interrupted my search for a new perfume - that might be the right word.
After my girlfriend had finished with the cosmetics, we changed locations and continued our shopping trip.

Next door was Abercrombie & Fitch with clothes on display. As I'm not (wasn't) normally the shopping type, this didn't mean anything to me - so I had a look around. With my (still) goal in mind, I immediately noticed a perfume shelf at the back left - I walked purposefully towards it while my friend first turned her attention to the clothes.

So it happened that Fierce Confidence by the same Abercrombie & Fitch company was the first thing I came across. Since there were several versions and sizes, it took a while. But the decision was made - I will reach my goal and the "thing" is bought (just not paid for yet).
I was just turning my attention to another display in front of the perfume shelf, with more fragrance samples, when a nice saleswoman asked if she could help me. As usual, I said I could manage. She then kindly pointed me to the range of new perfumes, some of which I had already had a look at. They were all unisex.

One of these fragrances was Coastline Musk.

I thought it was great, fresh, unobtrusive and suitable for everyday wear (i.e. also suitable for the office, which was also a criterion). So the plan was set. This will be the second shot today.

So out of the store with Fierce Confidence and Coastline Musk in the bag. Goal achieved and happy. While my girlfriend was trying on sexy lingerie in the neighboring store, I had the idea while waiting - I have to go back to the perfume store - after all, all good things come in threes and not twos. In a matter of two minutes, I had Artisan Blue in my bag and was back outside the changing room before my lady even knew I was gone.

So it was that I/we finally arrived home satisfied with 3 perfumes. But only partially satisfied - because: In retrospect, the process seemed successful to me, but this was more by chance. I was also interested in the price, knowing that it is always more expensive on site than online. And so I rummaged through various sites on the internet and eventually came across Parfumo. Of course, I immediately put the link in my favorites ;-).

To shorten the already (too) long story...I finally became an enthusiastic Parfumo user who passionately searches for, finds, tries, compares and orders new fragrance highlights and most importantly: always likes to smell good. In short, he has discovered the world of (beautiful) fragrances for himself.

I would therefore like to thank Coastline Musk for being a pioneering perfume and would now like to write my first review. Also, since no one has done this before...so here is the actual review of the Coastline Musk Abercrombie & Fitch perfume:

Spraying from the somewhat bulbous bottle (the atomizer is quite okay, I would say), the first impression is a rather fresh, citrusy scent. It feels light, clean and pure. But you can also detect slightly spicier, somewhat tart or greener aromas. The citrusiness fades slightly after about 1 hour and the tartness (fougère?) comes to the fore. The sillage seems to me to be average, which is good for office use. In my opinion, the same applies to the longevity, i.e. 5-6 hours, although I'm not yet sure how best to define this duration. Is it enough if you can still perceive it "in some form" with your nose directly on your skin? It always varies from person to person, so I'll leave it at that for now.
All in all, a great, fresh perfume suitable for everyday use. It makes you feel clean and in my opinion is perfect for spring and summer. I remember that all the fragrances on the table were declared as unisex (as the nice saleswoman said). So was CM (to also adopt this custom of using abbreviations on Parfumo).

In my opinion, everyone has to decide for themselves - although at this point the "everyone" would have been enough for me personally (to have said this too). Smelling CM on my girlfriend - this test is still pending. But I can well imagine it on her and I am sure that she will also take part.
I remain, with fragrant greetings to all perfumers...(something like that). Your P-Rebel.
