Silk and a glass of vino
With some scents I usually run away without even having smelled the perfume. My personal favorite is the direction "sweet-fruity".

Now it so happened that through a very kind little manufacturer's donation from Acqua del Garda - many thanks also at this point - I came to six samples of the Italian brand, which mingle as a traveling letter among the noses of the forum.
N.3 Accordo Soave and categorized here as "sweet-fruity", was the last of the samples, I had already chosen it as my final opponent, and then also raspberry, vanilla and peach in the fragrance pyramid! I was ready for anything, within reach of the sink with soap, brushes, alcohol and whatever it would take to scrub the syrup off my wrist, because as we all know, the perfumes you can least stand stick like tar.
So there I was, dressed in a lavender silk dressing gown, sitting on my terrace by Lake Garda. Relaxed, I had just taken a fragrant oil bath that Cleopatra would not have spurned, and cared for my skin with a fine cream. Instead of the feared worst scents, I smell from the first second milky, balsamic, caressing musk. What vanilla, tonka and almond do together in this fragrance should underline the creamy-sweet silkiness, but I can't smell any of these notes as individuals. Raspberry, peach or licorice I can not detect with all my efforts.
Everything I smell and perceive seems to have nothing at all to do with the fragrance pyramid and fragrance category, and I'm just wondering a bit if
a) my nose is not working properly? Yes it does, I can assure you,
b) I just feel the need for a trip to Lake Garda? YES, who doesn't?,
or
c) you always have to get involved with new things in order to be positively surprised!
