Acqua di Powder
Good evening to you all! :)
Today I come to one of those "Acqua" fragrances, a brand that starts with Acqua in the name and of which there are many brands in this way. Acqua di Parma, Acqua di Genova, Acqua,... okay okay, I just can't think of any more, but I know that there are some such brands :D

And today it's the Janca fragrance from Acqua di Biella. A brand that has existed since 1871 and the house was founded in Biella, hence the name :)
More detailed descriptions of the brand and its fragrances read like the usual descriptions of many other brands, for example that the house would only use high quality oils and create imaginative and creative compositions, or that the traditions would be combined with the modern and so on, well, you know. Such sentences are available from almost every manufacturer, no matter if the fragrance house is big or small, old or new :D

But this brand also emphasizes that the scents are niche scents that not everyone necessarily has and so... well, I just hope that the scent smells just as great as their advertising texts :D
Well, let's see!

The fragrance:
The fragrance starts fresh with mandarins and somehow other citric notes that I can't define. I also smell beautiful, fresh and green notes, which should be the lime trees, I am as always more uncertain about the flowery notes, but I like the slightly sweet-scented magnolias here (and hope that magnolias also smell sweet-scented :D).
The iris takes a few minutes to take effect and the fragrance becomes softer, and the musk seems to emerge quite quickly, which is good because it goes well with the iris and also has a slightly clean touch.
A little later, the citric notes have finally faded away and the fragrance smells more like floral notes, like the magnolias mentioned, but also generally simply like flowers. They smell nice and sweet and fortunately they are not somehow pompously heavy.
One still smells musk and iris (whereby one cannot perceive the iris correctly, but feels more its powdery effect). In addition, a little cedar is added, which gains slightly in strength in the later base. And that's how it stays, lightly powdery, slightly woody and flowery-sweet.

The Sillage and the shelf life:
The sillage is mediocre and weak, except for the short flashes of citric notes at the beginning, it will be more difficult to smell the scent in others if you can't get close enough. Also the shelf life is not the best, since the smell is to be already smelled after five hours much less clearly.

The bottle:
The bottle is rectangular with rounded edges and corners and actually looks quite simple. So I think it's good that he doesn't just have a simple white label, but a nice pink one with a nice chrome logo (and name), which seems to be tactile as well. The lid is black and also slightly cylindrical. Niche brand flacons are mostly puristic, but this one still looks nice.

Soo, Janca's pretty fancy. That is the most important point first of all. However, it hasn't become soo special for me now, but this statement probably applies only to myself, because I have tested many fragrances meanwhile, so that I have the feeling that many fragrances, whether mainstream or also high-quality niche fragrances, are now quite similar. I would probably also call such bangers as Aventus von Creed a middle average by now, and yes I know that is a sin, a scandal, a sacrilege, a disgrace... unbelievable how many words start with an "S"... but I like to annoy the Aventus disciples here :D

Be that as it may, as this fragrance smells nice, I would recommend a test, especially for those who like flowery powdery fragrances with sweetish notes and who like these fragrances to have a slightly clean touch.
But you have to cope with the fact that this fragrance is unfortunately a bit weak in its charisma and will be difficult to sniff out for many others. By the way, in my opinion the fragrance is best suited for warm days!

Soo, we made another commi! Have a nice evening, don't get too stressed before the holidays and see you soon :)
