Number 3 it is! The best AdP for me from the Note di Colonia line - Oriental freshness paired with the AdP DNA

A young, peppery Arab prince visits Italy for the first time in summer... and falls in love with the culture... the short version of the scent.... Some of you may have already read my review of Note di Colonia II; unfortunately, that one was too ordinary for me and didn't justify the price level. With "Note di Colonia III | Acqua di Parma," however, AdP has really stepped up; why?

- The Note di Colonia III starts fresh with a blast of ginger and mandarin. Beautiful! The opening is also accompanied by a fresh note of incense, which combined with the slightly green vetiver smells simply genius; oriental and at the same time typically AdP (Italian, fresh!). The incense absolutely does not remind one of a dull church visit, nor is it particularly challenging; it is there and gives the freshness an oriental character, blending under the freshness! WOW!

- After that, the scent becomes slightly warmer and slightly sweet, but never loses that green, bitter freshness from the beginning. Simply genius.

- The longevity of Note di Colonia III is far better than that of Note di Colonia II; this is probably also due to the more performant ingredients like incense, tonka bean, and myrrh :)

Overall, a far better, more oriental scent that, for me, still isn't worth the money, but does come closer to justifying the high price tag!

For me, number III is also outstanding. In my opinion, it's a great winter scent, rather atypical for an AdP. I also really like numbers II and V. Interestingly, II lasts forever on me; I can smell it on myself very well throughout the day and even beyond. It's just so different from person to person... I find the price acceptable considering the bottle size and design. Unfortunately, all five only have the lowest "eau de Cologne" concentration, which is a bit cheeky and puts the 150 ml into perspective...

You're right; it really is the case that we're talking about a low concentration here, and then they set the price so high, which is pretty counterproductive! It's interesting that the 2 lasts so long for you :) unfortunately, it fades away quickly for me :( the DNA is amazing, but it disappears too fast for me :(
