No, it can't be.
After my statement I tested again on skin and test strips and compared. 4 test strips were 1x Sauvage EDT, 1x Sauvage EDP, 1x La rive Extreme Story and 1x This Adidas here.
Unfortunately I only sprayed the deodorant close for my test because I would never buy an Adidas fragrance...
Well, what can I say? I'm surprised The Adidas Dare Edition smells more like Sauvage than the actual La Rive clone. I didn't want to believe it, but it's true. It doesn't smell like the Sauvage EDP but the Sauvage EDT is really close to it and even more so the Very Cool Spray
The top note is more citrusy than Sauvage and this one is very long lasting which is not bad.
In the heart note it is very similar to Sauvage EDT or Cool Spray.
The base note also has Sauvage character. The patchouli and the remaining mint that you don't smell at the beginning make you think of Versace Eros but really only the base
Try it out, if you are looking for a cheap Sauvage clone you are better off with this one than with La Rive Extreme Story.
After intensive testing and blind tests the percentages in my statement are not quite correct anymore, I probably didn't want to believe that it is so similar..
I would say that this scent is 75% Sauvage Very Cool Spray and 25% Adidas Sport scent To compare the La Rive ES Clone is for me only 50% sauvage.
