In the flower garden with a cup of tea

Initially, Eau des Orangers smells like the classic 4711, but that is as good as gone after a few minutes. Then I can smell lilac and green tea most clearly, followed a few minutes later by orange blossom. I have not yet been lucky enough to have had a fragrance under my nose in which lilac plays a more or less clear role that I like. I like this one. The base notes give the fragrance depth and a certain longevity. Amber in particular is a fantastic base note in my opinion. I also love amber in Gritti's Arancia Ambrata, for example, but it is much stronger and more present there than in the Adopt fragrance. For me, all the fragrance notes go well together and individual notes are easy to smell. You don't often get that with very inexpensive fragrances (not even with expensive designer fragrances). At least that was my experience. All in all, I see Eau des Orangers as a versatile, floral everyday fragrance without sweetness, which I think is great. It also has very slight green and tart notes. The eau is rather lighter in strength. I bought it blind and have no regrets. However, at the price, it wouldn't have been too bad if I hadn't liked it.
