Ruined by association

I initially loved my gritti Tutu! Reminded me of a poised ballerina chewing Bubble Tape gum. Somehow sophisticated and yet playful/girlie. Like a dusting of a light raspberry powdered sugar on a sexy musk. However, I walked into a room wearing Tutu and someone asked “what smells like someone just turned on the heat? Like dust is burning?” and oh my it actually does smell like the first time you turn on heater for winter season. I can’t get passed that now. This may be a Gritti characteristic note/musk that many love, I’m not sure, but I sadly had to part with my bottle due to this association.

Like a Soft, Well-Cared-For, Creamy Cloud

The name for me with Tutù Extrait de Parfum is, to put it simply, programmatic:
pink musk clouds, champagne with raspberry garnish, coconut, vanilla, and heliotrope that come together to form a creamy-smooth bed that captures and lets the remaining notes shine. Dry powder. Yes, like a pink tulle tutu, a fine, graceful ballerina dancing alone and lost in thought in sun-drenched rooms. It just fits.

I find it so beautifully intertwined within itself that everything becomes a connection of fragrance notes that I have not encountered anywhere else (so far): a little sparkling from the champagne, (rather berry-like), sweet, yet femininely powdery-creamy. The latter also defines the drydown.
For a Barbie or a teenage fragrance, I find it far too exquisite and extraordinary, while also being absolutely independent in its DNA. But here we are again 100% in the realm of "matter of taste," and that's okay.

Behind Tutù Extrait de Parfum there is, in my opinion, no fragrance that particularly fits certain situations or seasons, but rather a beautiful, feminine daily scent. It is not too much for me in summer, nor too quiet in winter. It fits perfectly in the office, but also makes noses perk up in the air when going out, wondering where the origin of this delicate and alluring fragrance is.

For me, it is a beautiful all-rounder with pleasant intensity and longevity that surrounds me like a pink-cared-for cloud.

It girl

The scent that smells like the color pink, the scent of a well-groomed young woman who wears lip gloss and styles her hair, pays attention to her appearance, and has a certain charm. The fragrance reminds me of my childhood, the house of an old friend, carefree living.
The scent simply knocks me off my feet in a slightly different way.
Tutu is a beautiful floral fruity fragrance that embraces you sweetly without being too sweet. I actually find that, despite a certain synthetic quality, you can smell the quality of the house. The sillage and longevity are fine for me, as the scent has truly captivated me and I just spray a bit more often.
Beautiful for young women, in my opinion, who want to fit into this typical cliché of the beautiful and unattainable yet simultaneously naive, typically “girly” young woman.

Childhood Memories

A scent that picks me up. Especially the opening reminds me of the delicious, sweet fruity gum balls from the vending machines of my childhood. Tutu develops into a slightly powdery, soft, delicately rosy, subtly vanilla-toned floral scent with "adult" depth. The latter is primarily created, to my nose, by the amber accord, which flashes through after about 20 minutes. If this slightly dark depth didn't play along, Tutu would actually be too girlish for me. For an extrait, the scent is not particularly strong and radiates rather subtly. Therefore, I use it generously. It feels playful, very feminine, flirty, yet still mature and elegant. I own many floral perfumes, but none smell like Tutu. The scent does not undergo a striking or exciting development, but that doesn't bother me at all in this case. Somehow, I feel young with it, and that is a lovely feeling for me. The sweet components lose some weight in the drydown, which I really appreciate. Tutu touches my soul and my spirit in a pleasant, soothing way - what more could I want.

When I tested Tutú for the first time, I was fascinated by what a fragrance can do; not only was I immediately captivated by the bottle, but also by how the scent develops. I had to have this fragrance right away as it wouldn't leave my mind. It starts with a very pleasant sweetness and evolves into a very elegant direction for me. The scent is an all-rounder that can be sprayed for any occasion. I must say that I would categorize it more for spring/summer. The freshness of the fragrance is super pleasant. Regarding longevity, I must say I had hoped for more. I spray it twice a day for a 100% scent experience. Overall, I would buy it again every time as it already blew me away during testing, and I simply love it.
