Khashab is Arabic and means wood. But in the realm of fragrances, it generally refers to incense and occasionally to oud. This blend contains these two ingredients as well as essential oils derived from other woods.
I had been toying with the idea of creating a pure wood blend for a while, and it was finally realized in the form of Khashab.
“Woody” is of course the best way to describe this perfume. All the ingredients of this blend come from trees*. No floral or other essential oils and of course no synthetic substances.
It’s all about tree resins, tars, woods, woods, and even more woods.
The scent of Khashab is very dynamic. Due to the nature of the wood extracts, it is not only very complex and intense, but also smells different in various environments. You may find it sweeter indoors and crisper, creamier, and woodier when it’s warm, and more robust when it’s cold. Khashab contains, in addition to essential oils, also real liquefied resins. Therefore, temperature changes are one of the easiest (and most fun!) ways to enjoy the different facets of this oil.
