Smell of tropical forest, captured in a bottle

For me, Java smells a bit like a combination of Blu and Kelantan. Blu because of its green, slightly herbal and crisp character. Kelantan because of its smoky, dark oud. It's a bit like a more expressive and darker version of Blu. The longevity is very good for a natural perfume. The projection is also good, nothing to complain about. For me, it is the essence of nature, of a tropical forest, captured in a bottle. One of the best Agar Aura fragrances I have encountered.

The Sirens of the Southern Swamps

The scent of dark lemonade wafts like an obscure cloud, siren-singing bright grass of lemon, enticing you with its herbal aroma, the brownish glow of balsamic cola. Now come, big child, here where we are.
Soon roots grow from the undulating hustle, you stumble through damp grass after the rain, admiring the green ethereal glow and imagining yourself in a fairy tale. Go on, my child, quickly.
Here are woods that have become moist clay and moss like wet forest ground, the grasses have fermented into earth liqueur and the roots into delicate smoke, the lemon glimmers faintly still. Dive deeper into the swampy land, the resinous earth, the smoldering splint, let yourself drift down there, my child.

According to their own statements, the creators of Agar Aura collect and distill the raw materials of the perfumes and oils themselves in the jungles of Southeast Asia, thus ensuring their high standard of quality and purity.
The top note of "Java," which Caligari particularly emphasized in his statement, is a wonderful accord of balsam (often a combination of benzoic and cinnamic acid esters with a touch of vanillin), lemongrass, and vetiver, reminiscent of the cola-like scent of young plant shoots, while also carrying the earthy-rooty character of the sweet grass. Ethereal-citrus overtones accompany the development towards the wet, clayey forest floor (oak moss) and liqueur-like patchouli in which smoking oud chips drift. The accord from the top note never completely disappears. The sirens of the southern swamps sing moderately but enormously enduringly.

The opening smells like burnt rubber with lemongrass. Drydown is intense wet soil and smoke, like a storm over a volcano. Bitter moss, wood.
