I really cannot top Franfran20's review; he was able to get more out of it than I could.

After waiting for a couple of months for the full bottles to come out, I ordered received all five. All in all, I was disappointed. Despite the saccharine-sweet visage, not all of the perfumes are as sweet as I was led on to believe.

Bloody orange did have some sweetness to it. I smelled a faint orange oil floor wax spilled on spicy leather. Longevity was poor, no more than 2 hours on me.

I will be holding onto the bottles for collective reasons; but if you are seeking a new favorite or signature perfume, I say keep walking.

Cupcakes
I can't put into words how much I love cupcakes. I enjoy looking at them, I love baking them, and of course, I also really enjoy eating them. There are so many different varieties, fillings, toppings, sprinkles, fondant, and so on.

My sweetheart and I were in London last year, and I absolutely wanted to go to Peggy Porschen. If you don't know her, Peggy Porschen is a German pastry chef who has made a name for herself in London, and her clientele now includes stars like Gwyneth Paltrow and Elton John.
When I saw her shop, my little girl heart did a true leap of joy. The exterior is baby pink, and the inside is not much different. Even the receipts are pink.
Admittedly, we could only try 2 cupcakes (more wouldn't be possible, otherwise it's sugar overload), but it was still a wonderful experience.

As luck would have it, I became aware of the fragrances by Alice & Peter. I remember showing them to my colleague online and simultaneously saying, "Just look at the bottles, they are more than kitschy." She grinned and then said, "Yes, that's true. Do you still want to test them?" And my answer was, "Of course!"
I think there's a little part in each of us that likes kitsch.
Of the four, Bloody Orange appealed to me the most. I also love baking carrot cupcakes, so it fit quite well.

Sprayed on, sniffed, and delighted. At first, I perceive the citrus notes like grapefruit and orange. These remain until the end but move into the background, allowing the spice notes like cumin, saffron, and cinnamon to take the lead. The floral notes hardly come through for me.
It all lightly finishes with caramel, vanilla, and cedar. I would describe it as a spicy scent, but due to the combination with orange, grapefruit, and lemon, it retains a certain freshness and never becomes too overwhelming or heavy.
It definitely reminds me of carrot cake, and I think that's just wonderful.

The longevity could be a bit better; after a good four hours, I can unfortunately no longer perceive it. As for the sillage, I find it better in this case that it is more intimate. I think Bloody Orange is great, but I can imagine that it's not everyone's cup of tea.
Still, it's worth testing.

If you would excuse me now, I still need to bake a few cupcakes.
