Since
Cool Water Eau de Toilette came out, a huge number of "aquatics", "sea breezes", "ozonics" and other newcomers have graced the perfume shelves. There are real "cucumbers", but also "fragrant treasures".
This "Platino" is one of the latter. Here, the fragrance pyramid at the top seems to be anything but complete. Yes, the green ambience with fresh lemons fits. Also the highlighted lavender note. But I can also detect frankincense, myrrh, rosemary and an interesting blend of spices. Probably some thyme, pepper and allspice.
This combination probably creates the "aquatic" impression that overlays everything. Even when woods, moss, patch and veriver are added. The vetiver provides a slightly bitter-fresh, rooty grassy note that makes the fragrance appear "slightly daring".
A comparison with
Acqua di Giò Profumo Parfum is certainly appropriate. Whereby the "Armani" seems a little "darker" and the "Gómez" herbaceous and spicy. Both provide a long-lasting, tart fragrance. Also because of its good quality at an extremely reasonable price, "Platino" is one of my absolute favorite fragrances!
