Acqua di Giò Profumo Giorgio Armani

Mein erstes Parfüm. Ich habe eine besondere Beziehung zu Acqua di Giò Profumo. Ich erinnere mich genau an den Moment, als ich es zum ersten Mal roch. Sofort kam mir das Bild eines Mannes in einem Hemd in den Sinn. Ich roch den Geruch der Reife, den Geruch, den ich als Kind an einem Erwachsenen zu riechen pflegte, und er faszinierte mich sehr. So assoziierte ich ihn vom ersten Moment an mit Reife, mit Bewusstsein, mit Männlichkeit. Es ist ein leicht strenger, aromatischer und mineralischer Duft. Er ist rau, scharf und kantig. Ich halte ihn für sehr vielseitig, man kann ihn das ganze Jahr über tragen, zumindest in Süditalien, wo die Wintertemperaturen nie das Bedürfnis nach einem warmen Parfüm aufkommen lassen. Einfach ideal für diejenigen, die ein Parfüm für das ganze Jahr haben wollen. Ich finde ihn sehr professionell, eher elegant, ich empfehle ihn nicht in Kombination mit Sportkleidung. Ich würde sagen, er hält etwa acht Stunden an, obwohl man ihn auf der Haut noch länger spürt. Wenn ich eine Farbe mit ihm verbinden müsste, wäre es Schwarz.

This fragrance is a very good flanker of the original Acqua Di Gio Pour Homme. The scent is very similar and the longevity and sillage is almost twice as good as the original, although i think the cosmair version of the original is way better than the current version. The IFRA strikes again. Man i hate those dopes. Grow a pair and stop the nonsense already!! Parfumo is a nice strong fragrance that lasts just about most of the day which is very good for an aquatic scent. I personally do not care all that much for these aquatic fragrances but every once in a while they are necessary to wear especially during the warm summer months. That's why I have these in my collection and I will continue to have these in my collection.

Nice Fragrance

This is a good fragrance, although it has not fulfilled my desire at all. It opens with citrus and floral scent. Bergamot is the only ingredient of citrus note and after a while, all the scent that i can feel is floral scent. I suppose it is a lot of geranium and rosemary scent. This part is the main note of this perfume which is likable. I can't smell the incense note, but Patchouli does exist.
With no doubt this perfume is for summer and spring. I don't think it is wearable for any occasion and for daily use. It is suits for dating and visiting a girl. For office, it is a bit informal.
I think this fragrance fits young people (less than 40 years of age).
The projection is moderate and the longevity is good (less than 6 hours). After 3 hours, I think the projection decreases significantly and I can smell the scent just near to my skin.
All in all, i like the scent, but it is not my favorite. I like it just for putting on in some occasion.

The most versatile of the Acqua di Gio line

Perfect for sunny days and on top of that it goes very well on warmer nights. I don't think the others are so good for night use. The opening is very reminiscent of Essenza, very much! The two look a lot alike, but while the Essenza remains more luminous, aquatic and floral, the Profumo has a slight darkening, it is denser, probably due to the incense, although it maintains the water characteristics very evident, without being as saline as the Traditional Gio.

The fixation is incredible, it continues after hours and after a shower you can still feel it. The aroma of Profumo is wonderful! Very good aquatic and aromatic output, pungent and refreshing, following the olfactory line of Acqua di Gio flankers, hard not to please. It goes a bit linear for hours, changing very little. But when the incense appears, it brings a slight change, leaving the aroma more aromatic and a little less aquatic, giving that darkening that I mentioned above.

I've been told it's a mix of Bleu de Chanel and Gio Essenza, but for me it's a less luminous Essenza, more formal, dense and slightly nocturnal, although the freshness remains until the end.

Profumo is like diving deeper into the ocean, close to the rocks and ores of the sea. A great flanker of this Armani series that so far is impeccable.

Anyone who likes Acqua Di Gio will certainly be satisfied with Profumo (for me, the best of the line).

ACQUA DI GIO

I'm not a particular fan of "blue fragrances", but, wanting something that was a dumb reach for when I wasn't in the mood for going full on Xerjoff Nio or Acqua di Parma but wanted something that was fresh and easy going, I bought myself a decent selection of small-ish decants from eBay and starting working my way through them. As soon as I sprayed this in the air I was fairly certain I'd found my one, and wearing it on skin confirmed what I thought.

It's an extremely clever fragrance, in that it is undoubtedly a "blue fragrance" but it somehow manages to be "that bit more". It's that bit more natural smelling, that bit sharper, that bit more zingy, that bit more green and herbal, that bit more balanced and refined, that bit more salty and foamy, that bit more earthy and smoky. None of these things stand out massively in and of themselves, but together they have a cumulative effect which seems to be far greater than the sum of their parts. Whilst it is and ever shall be a dumb reach blue Designer fragrance for me, what it does so brilliantly is to take that genre and perfect it without ever getting ideas above its station.

Will I ever grow to love the blue Designer fragrance genre? So far it seems doubtful, as there are so many other interesting and different and jaw-droppingly stunning fragrances out there that these workhorses will likely ever remain as such, but that's not to say that they don't have their place, or that they don't smell good.

So, if you're wanting to smell fabulously unique and extravagant, you'll need to look elsewhere. But when you've had your fill of that and you want a break, but you still want to smell interesting, natural, and refined, for my money this is the one that beats all the others hands down, and if this is still a bit much and you want to smell more shower-gel-like then you could always reach for Versace's Dylan Blue (what is it about that Alberto Morillas?
