ingenious drydown..
I recently tested the AdG Profumo in a perfumery next to Sauvage EdP. The latter was nothing for me and I'm not saying that I think it's bad, it just doesn't suit me. I didn't know either of them yet, as I haven't tried many new perfumes so far and had stayed with my YSL L'homme(s) (yes, I'm one who likes them!). But since my last bottle of L'homme was empty, I went to the perfumery and thought it was time to discover more new things. After all, I have been registered here for a short time.

Now to the AdG Profumo, freshly sprayed on was my first thought, nice and fresh - let it work a little, I'm not in a hurry. Back in the office and after some time he became more and more interesting and tasty for me. I had to smell it all the time. In my opinion, the freshness is maintained throughout, but in the drydown an ingenious, delicious spiciness is added that I like very much.

For me, its type is similar to L'homme: masculine, fresh, elegant and spicy but not exaggerated. The durability and Sillage are however better than with YSL. No, they're not the same. But similar in style. You can tell I don't mind these fresh scents. :)

As already mentioned I am quite new in the forum and have tested only a few scents compared to many here so far. I smell good (related to the sense of smell), but I'm not yet that good at filtering out individual components. At least not with all fragrances.

However, I rather evaluate fragrances in their entirety, since they are always mixtures of various fragrances. I like the AdG Profumo very much. I'd classify it as a good spring and summer fragrance. Which can also be worn in autumn when the weather is good.

Alberto Morilla's masterpiece
A masterpiece by Alberto Morillas.

Not only because he is on the best way to become an absolute classic and probably one day legends status will attain.
Acqua di Gio Profumo gives its wearer a certain elegance and self-confidence. An Acquat with woody spicy notes.

For me, this fragrance certainly has niche character. Price / performance fit perfectly. 100ml for ca.80-90 euros. And the Mattschwarze flacon is a poem.

The shelf life is with me at about 6 hours.
The sillage the first 3-4 hours good /, then it slows down a bit. But never intrusive.

A fragrance that fits always and everywhere no matter what time and season. Great in its way.

For me, the fragrance exudes elegance, style, class, and yes so I see it, also some reasonable sexiness.

Not slaying discreet but determining.

Who wears the fragrance, stands with both feet firmly in life. Must prove no one what and knows exactly what he wants.

I have tried to describe this fragrance as objectively as possible. The so a fragrance you have to evaluate objectively. He has earned in my eyes.

Honor to whom honor is due.

It will always be in my collection.

Thank you

When a scent and music becomes a headliner...
Hello, dear ones! br />
As the title suggests, I associate a certain fantasy in my head with this fragrance when I wear it, smell it and listen to a certain track. But more about that in a moment...

I have been an active DJ and musician for 16 years. Starting with Hardtechno, I found my musical way over House and Tech-House, now to Deep-Techno and Deephouse. I find this music so interesting because it has a certain depth and gets a certain atmosphere through various filters, compressors and reverb effects, making the tracks of good quality look spherical and dark. But how do music, a scenery and a scent fit together now. Let's just take the 1995 commercial of Acqua di gio as an example, where a track is running in the background of Oval, called Textual. This track doesn't build up any tension, but it still seems clean, deep and almost hypnotic to me, just like the scent and the video itself. In combination with the scent it evokes associations of a wide beach, sea water and the cool breeze of the wide ocean. I have often noticed that certain sounds or tracks can be associated with a certain scent. Let's take Underwater Love from Smoke City as another example... Who doesn't immediately think of an underwater world when hearing this song? :) This is exactly how I feel when I hear the Fragments Remix by Sasha Dive, wear Acqua di gio Profumo and close my eyes. This track is as dark and deep as the ocean and the scent itself. This combination makes me sink to the bottom of the deep ocean. Beneath me nothing but dark emptiness and yet it almost seems as if the ocean is endlessly deep and without bottom. How weightlessly I sink down into the infinite depth that seems to have no end... Wow! :)

Acqua di gio profumo has the same effect on me as the music, mysterious, clean and with a lot of depth. The prelude is cool, aquatic and slightly dark and awakens the described associations in me. Profumo moves very close to the original, but gains a beautiful depth through the incense and patchouli, which make it look much more mature and mature. The aquatic aspect remains always present in the foreground and is accompanied by a little spice.

The durability is very good and I get a good 10h+ with 4 sprayers. The Sillage is very good in the first 3-4h and flattens out very slowly, at least for me.

The flacon is and remains an icon and still impresses with its simple timeless design and a great spray head.

I really have to pay my respect to this fragrance and can only recommend everyone to try it.

4x M: Modern male Morillas masterpiece
Compliments. Someone once said that 99% of perfume wearers wear perfume to get compliments or to stand out more positively. The remaining 1% are liars Well, I definitely don't see the distribution that crass. Apart from the fact that of course absolutely nobody at parfumo.de ever wants to get compliments and vehemently condemns the topic (little wink on my part), many people wear their fragrances for themselves or out of "habit" - or just to feel more "dressed".

As always, the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

In general, I think it can be said that every healthy person without exception is happy about compliments of any kind, but many fragrances are simply too good to be used only as "compliment getters". Conversely, there are also people who don't care from the bottom of their heart how their layered marijuana-pizza-rose-iris shower gel scent is received by their fellow men. All legitimate.

Today's problem is rather that people are increasingly seeking confirmation (especially via social media) to boost their egos, thereby losing touch with reality and entering a vicious circle of dissatisfaction and frustration. No, we do not want to digress here, even if I have to deal with this topic every day. But to build a bridge to the topic of fragrances (or in this case explicitly "ADG Profumo", short "ADGP"): With this fragrance it has been damn hard for me to not fall into this vicious circle.

"ADGP" is fresh, woody, yet dark and deep enough not to pass for a classic blue scent, minimally smoky, minimally sweet and minimally spicy. Above all, it is maximally masculine for me. I probably got it as a gift or bought it blind. I don't know anymore, even though it is not that old. In any case, I must have destroyed half a liter of the perfume in a short time. I have never emptied a 180 ml bottle of any other fragrance. Several of this one. For me, this fragrance radiates absolute authority, masculinity, leadership, and a "I don't let myself be fooled and say this". Even more so than Aventus, who was probably the best fragrance for me because of his naturalness - even though the choice is really hard for me and I don't like to let both compete, "ADGP" was there first.

"ADGP" is an always-on, dumb reach. He rightly leads many high scores. In my opinion, he is not only suitable from the age of 25 on, because he is simply damn good before. It might work best on an adult man, but it is really very universal and suitable for all seasons.

The durability and sillage seemed a bit stronger in the early years, but it can be just habit. In any case, it survives a working day with me, which is quite good for a freshie. But he is not only a perfect companion in the office. For me "ADGP" is also an extremely suitable clubbing scent. In keeping with his quite chauvinistic alpha-character I described above, his performances at night are also very fitting. Enclosed some examples.

Me, the morning after a club night. The Facebook Messenger reports: "Person X (please insert any female name) would like to send you a message."
"Hey, weren't you at Club X yesterday?" "Yeah, why?"
"I just wanted to know who that smelly man was yesterday :)"
The lady looked through the whole list of participants of the event to find me.

Almost every time at work: "Mhm, you smell so good again!"
"That's my favorite scent of you!"
"You're wearing that one scent again, ne?"

One ex-girlfriend a few days after the last meeting: "I still haven't washed your sweater, and I keep smelling it. My pillow still smells of you too."

"Whoa, nice perfume, dude!" - Feels every guy on a just good energy level
And to get back to the subject of ego boost: It's really hard not to jump on the compliment-seeker bandwagon and judge the actual scent when you're really so overwhelmed with positive statements. You read about compliments in other fragrances all the time - "ADGP" has been the only reliable candidate for me.

Morillas has brought the DNA of the original "ADG" to maturity, giving it depth and even more masculinity, and created a timeless flanker that far surpasses the original. The black and silver bottle is a perfect contrast to the bright, "sunny" original. The fresh and refreshing top note is addictive without any real synthetic (even if the naturalness is not creed-like), and becomes darker and darker with time, and smokier with the incense. For a better description of the fragrance process including poems and metaphors I like to refer to the numerous comments and statements below me - some of them are much more resourceful and creative.

It's impossible for me to rub this scent in. It smells modern, timeless, sexy, and just fucking manly. Even without the actually rather superficial complimentary theme. But if you look at it as a "coincidental", nice bonus (which you should always do to not lose touch with reality and the actual meaning of the fragrance), the fragrance gets even better
If one would place three designer freshies symbolically next to each other as the age progression of a man, the whole thing would look like this in my opinion:
Versace - Eros, Versace - Dylan Blue, Acqua di Gio Profumo.
By the way, the latter does not reflect the grandfather, but the grown man, about 25+. No idea how to associate "ADGP" with an old man - he smells too young for that. I have never heard such statements from my otherwise quite honest fellow men. And some of them have been called old man scent. Maybe my skin rejuvenates the scent but also simply ... who knows?
The above-mentioned age progression is of course completely subjective, and certainly replaceable by umpteen other scents.

But for me there is no substitute: "Acqua di Gio Profumo". A presumably eternal top 5 contender in my life. Morillas has done a great job here
Smell well.

A Giorgio Armani... you don't have to say any more!
Giorgio Armani is known for his good fragrances and has always been very popular and sought after when it comes to his fragrances.
In many perfumeries the test bottles were sprayed completely empty and one often smelled Acqua di Gio, Armani Code etc. in the air. Always hip and it didn't need any further comment but just to mention the name to describe this fragrance. I couldn't do anything with Armani scents back then. To me you did not smell too individual rather like a 0815 fragrance. I was a big fan of Ralph Lauren and his scents back then. A few months ago, however, I tried my luck again and tried some Armani fragrances. I was again disappointed and not enthusiastic.... Unfortunately! Once again you were too one-sided for me to 0815. Nothing special..
Then I recently came across Profumo here in the forum. It should be spicier than its predecessors and a power performance. So next thing I know, I'm just gonna try it out. Sometimes it doesn't cost anything...It didn't take long and I sprayed a test strip on my next shopping trip. Joa doesn't smell bad. Spicy, strong and fresh...I thought I was good and put the test strip back into my jeans pocket. While shopping I smelled the test strip every now and then and found the smell really good. But buy????? I wasn't convinced yet.
My annual holiday was coming up and every time I fly on holiday I cover up with a new fragrance as a reward. I had 4-5 fragrances in my head that I wanted to get next, but some of them were sceptical if they could be bought at the Duty Free. Düsseldorf Airport has a good choice of fragrances, but it can't get close to Breuninger. "But" I thought to myself, "the Profumo is there for sure." I showed the Profumo to my better half at the airport. She found him megaa. That's how a man's supposed to smell and it smells great. Fresh spicy. ...
Yeah, I thought so, too. I liked him even more now than I did the days before. Directly I covered myself with the fragrance and could test its durability and Sillage. 10 hours later I arrived at the hotel and still smelled the Profumo. In the airplane I thought partially hopefully the people do not think "he has showered with it" such a Sillage he had. Now I'm looking forward to spraying him on for dinner in the evening. A wonderful strong spice and a great freshness. Detail fragrance description has already been done here to suffice.
Short and sweet a really great fragrance that makes me even more masculine. In the evening you feel special and noble at the same time.

Jawollo now I also own an Armani and I'm already looking forward to it when I'm back in cold Germany and my friends tell me what a great fragrance it is and I simply and simply say: Giorgio Armani

reading and hearing glowing reviews and rumors of discontinuation, I caved in and blind bought it. Wish I hadn't, I find it very generic.

It's good but a tad overrated imo. Bored with the Acqua di Gio DNA I sold my bottle but I can understand the success. Fresh & manly.
