Drink quickly before it evaporates!
Ahaaaaa! Here I am again!
Schhhhtt… calm down, everything will be fine! This time I won’t go off the rails, won’t complain, and I probably won’t say anything dirty either. So relax, sit back, grab something to drink, and read this comment if you want.
Because next time I will definitely go off the rails, complain, and say dirty things!!!! Maybe, anyway… he he… but not today… :D
So, welcome to my comment on the fragrance “Moroccan Tea” by “& Other Stories,” yet again a brand that means absolutely nothing to me. But it’s about tea, so that already earns a point :)
It’s about Moroccan tea, which is usually a green tea, often refined with mint. Traditionally, the tea is frothed when poured into the glasses and… well, I still haven’t figured out why. Apparently, this foam is so important that even street vendors don’t wash it out when a customer has emptied their glass, so that the foam (which is labor-intensive to create) remains for the next customer (… delicious… bahhh! :D).
As a guest at someone’s home, of course, you have your own glass (… thankfully, phew :DD), and then three glasses of tea are usually drunk. However, if you don’t feel like tea, you should at least drink one glass out of courtesy and respect.
Yes, you can see, writing about tea is fun for me. I don’t really know much about it, but I find the topic very interesting, tea itself is of course very delicious, and the scent in perfumes is also quite lovely. Therefore, I always look forward to testing a fragrance with tea notes, just like now, which I must of course report to you right away :)
A little later, the mint settles back into the “normal range,” even though it still remains one of the strongest notes in this fragrance. The tea is still faintly detectable, but perhaps now you can also catch a hint of the stated mate, which comes and goes somehow.
The sweetness of the scent now resembles sugar, which fits the name of the fragrance, as such teas are often quite sweetened in Morocco.
In the end, the tea is almost gone, and the citrus-fresh scents as well as the mint are now significantly weakened. Now you mainly smell sweet-spicy cardamom and some indistinguishable woods in the background. The base is therefore warmer, instead of fresh, but it still smells nice, even if you have to press your nose against the sprayed spot, as the scent then hardly has any projection left.
Sure, you don’t necessarily have to try this scent, even as a tea lover, but it wouldn’t hurt to let the scent touch your skin :)
However, the scent is quite fleeting. While it projects reasonably well in the first few minutes, leading you to think that you might enjoy the scent for longer, a significant portion of its intensity dissipates within the first 30 minutes, leaving only a very faint scent afterward. So it’s more of a simple, slightly fleeting cologne. While it does last six or seven hours on the skin, it is indeed very close to the body. That’s a shame, but still typical for such fresh summer scents, as many others, even larger and more well-known manufacturers, are no different.
So, that’s it again. You see, I was rather “normal” and “calm” today. Despite being mid-May (and thus almost summer), I didn’t write anything about legs or breasts, didn’t complain or curse, but was rather nicer, right? Everything I can’t promise you for my next comment is that it will stay that way, mu ha ha ha :DDD
Well then, have a nice evening and see you later :)

The Scent:
The scent starts with beautiful, fresh mint and lemons. The tea scent is rather weak and smells like a mix of green tea and black tea. There’s also a sweet-spicy note, which must be the cardamom. A few moments later, the mint seems almost too strong-sweet and reminds me of the mint in chewing gum. That’s not necessarily bad, but a bit unusual. However, this effect will certainly be very refreshing, especially in the height of summer. A little later, the mint settles back into the “normal range,” even though it still remains one of the strongest notes in this fragrance. The tea is still faintly detectable, but perhaps now you can also catch a hint of the stated mate, which comes and goes somehow.

The Sillage and Longevity:
The sillage is initially quite okay, but unfortunately weakens far too quickly, so that you will really only smell it yourself. The longevity may lie between six to eight hours, which sounds quite decent, but: After just two hours, the scent is extremely weak, and an hour later it was practically so close to the skin that I could only smell it with extensive sniffing. The Bottle:
The bottle is cylindrical and has a cap made of transparent plastic, which makes everything look quite cheap and careless. The label that wraps around the entire bottle is nothing special either. For me, the bottle is one of the most thoughtless and boring bottles I know… Conclusion:
So, I found the scent quite nice. Not incredibly spectacular, but definitely better than the average ratings here. Okay, the tea is rather weak in its projection, so you can smell more mint and lemon as well as sugar and especially cardamom, but still, this combination is quite nice and especially refreshing on hot days. Sure, you don’t necessarily have to try this scent, even as a tea lover, but it wouldn’t hurt to let the scent touch your skin :)
