The Certain "Je Ne Sais Quoi"
This fragrance is definitely special, and I must say that I had my difficulties with it at first.
I was prepared for something woody, warm. Something that corresponds to the name: Wood of Life.
Instead, I encountered a scent that I could not define - cannot define.
Woody? Yes, maybe a little, but not predominantly.
Cinnamon? Rose? Clove? Leather? Yes, I perceive that too, but none of it dominates. (Regarding the rose, I must say, thankfully, because I am not a fan of overly floral scents, and rose is generally difficult for me).
It is warm and cool at the same time; dark-bitter-spicy but also somehow bright-fresh-sparkling; and absolutely suitable for everyday wear.
In short, I had to test this special fragrance several times to perceive and learn to appreciate it in all its complexity.
It is incomparable and by no means boring.
