Gentle and soft neroli accompanied by musk and amber

This scent is good. Not great, not bad, just fine. Why? It lacks a bit of depth. I've smelled my share of neroli fragrances, realized it's a flower I do love in a fragrance if it's done right. In this one? They've done it nice , but haven't done justice to it.

At the beginning, neroli is floral, sweet and citrusy with a tinge of green freshness. It's soft and lovely, perfect for the warm weather ahead. After a few moments, it turns a bit more spicy (still stays in feminine territory) with a warm musky and ambery undertone. It's like a neroli flower getting heat from the rays of sun during spring. I don't really get what oxygen or solar notes are supposed to smell like, so I can't really share an opinion on those. Since it doesn't have a lot of notes, it lacks the depth I need and crave to add it to my collection.

Overall, it's a nice skin-scent, clearly in the clean-girl aesthetic, It'll make you feel freshly showered and ready to go. Unfortunately, there are better fragrances out there for a fraction of the price and the sillage is so so soft, it reminded me of a fragrance mist. Not worth for the price.

More Sun than Grass?

I hadn't looked at the fragrance notes before testing, so I was hoping for a fresh, green scent reminiscent of grasses and herbs before spraying it on. That is not the case.
It's much more of a (very) light, (very) beautiful Neroli scent.
(Very) delicate. Too delicate?

I'm not a fan of fragrances that seem to linger even after two days and at least one shower. I don't think my scent needs to be smelled from 3 meters away.
Sometimes, it almost ruins a fragrance for me when I can smell it continuously over a longer period; it creates a sort of saturation feeling.
BUT I would like to enjoy the scent myself for at least 2.5 - 4 hours. Even with an EdC, I think 2.5 hours should be achievable. When I rest my head on my hand, I appreciate a whiff of the fragrance. If I hug someone during that time, I want my scent to be at least perceived peripherally.
During my first test, after an hour, I could only smell something when my nose was pressed against my skin. So I sprayed on more and waited again. This time, I could perceive the scent quite closely for about three and a half hours. I find that still okay, but I had to initially apply quite a bit of perfume for that.

It's a nice scent, but at least today, it’s not enough for me to make a purchase.
