Criminally Un-talked About!
Altho this goes off on it's own thing, it's in the same vein as Gold Man (Amouage) and Carnal Flower (Frederic Malle).

They're connected by the fact of them being high quality, white floral, fragrances. And it's the white florals that harkens one to the other when smelling them, The remarkable thing is that both GM and CF are more than quadruple the price of AM and for it to hold it's own in comparison to them is just wild.

Why is this so untalked about??? I'm assuming because it's quirky looking and the price says cheap and not worth my time. I'm willing to wager that if this sold at a higher price point, this would be coveted and more talked about within the community.

Anywho, that's my two cents. What do you think about Anucci Man?

Unknown masculine floral
I first got wind of this fragrance from an oil shop. If you're black/African American in America, you know which kind of oil shop I'm talking about. She called the oil "Anucci Anucci." Interesting name, I thought. Never heard of it. Pick it up, sniff sniff.... oh! This is flowery....soapy.... but not a feminine fragrance. Believe it or not, this was my introduction to an actual floral fragrance that wasn't Oud Satin Mood Eau de Parfum...... not rosy or sweet. Floral, soapy, clean but masculine. However, this is not a "hanging out with the fellas" type of fragrance. This is a "spending time with the lady in my life on a nice spring day" kind of fragrance. The patchouli and vetiver take this into a masculine direction. Without those notes, it would easily be feminine. This is really good, really underrated and worth more than the price.

Floral Fresh
I once again let myself be guided by appearances and admit that I primarily bought this fragrance because of the wonderful bottle. A large stylized golf ball made of frosted glass, with a small stylized golf ball made of frosted glass as the cap, underneath a golden sprayer, and a swinging golfer as the logo! The fragrance itself is golden yellow. You just have to have it!
Surprisingly, the inner values are just as brilliant as the packaging. The entire fragrance progression is dominated by a light and sweet jasmine note, unusually feminine but pleasant. Initially, it is fresh and light green; one almost feels like eating a green apple while sitting in the shade under a lemon tree on a perfectly maintained golf course. After about half an hour, the freshness fades a little, and a calming slightly earthy patchouli and vetiver composition joins the feminine jasmine note. The dry down is classically 80s with a touch of oak moss, yet fleeting and still primarily light and floral.
Conclusion: One of the few floral men's fragrances that I have and know, and which completely convinces me. Fans of Givenchy's Insensé should definitely give it a try. Above all, the fragrance pleasantly stands out from today's masculine woody mainstream fragrance world. It’s almost impossible to encounter another wearer of this fragrance anywhere.
Longevity is very good, sillage is strong but not overwhelming. The price is surprisingly low for a fine composition. Grab it!

Almost unknown and unique*** Composition: Flowers, earth, moss, and wood
Just as there are melodies that are unique and unlike any others, there are also fragrances that possess this quality. Such is this "end-of-the-eighties."
So far, I have not encountered a scent that it reminds me of. There are many perfumes with jasmine, but in this combination, it is extraordinary. Even in the top notes, this white flower plays with woods and citrus. Both remain in their immediate vicinity, yet they never take center stage. Amidst this dance, earthy and grassy notes emerge, artfully bound with lavender.
There is also another deep yet light component, somewhat herbal, slightly sweet, reminiscent... of what? Tea, medicine...
All the aromas somehow harmonize with each other... Principle: "ordered chaos," if that even exists. Slowly, the components begin to merge together. Not completely... now and then, one of them peeks out cheekily, "winking" and "waving".... all while wearing a mischievous smile. Underneath, it has a slightly mossy and balsamic quality, seeming to support the entire fragrance. Like strong pillars holding up a grand building.
The architect (perfumer) has become a master builder of the (almost) impossible here:
Delicate complexity that holds together yet remains independent...

Unisex and yet masculine?
Quite possible. For a long time, I circled around this fragrance; due to the comment from the esteemed colleague Hordak and promising reviews online, I finally acquired it as an OF and tested it with mixed expectations...

Well, my concerns were unfounded. Yes, it is an extremely floral scent, without any sharpness, even sweet, without coming across as overly feminine. Wearable by women, "delicate" guys, as well as by more rugged men. How is this achieved?

"Insensé" with less spice. Yes, that seems to capture the character of this fragrance. The opening is already intensely floral and raises doubts about gender classification. The rather femininely designed bottle may have hinted at this already. Even though "Anucci Man" bravely tries to integrate more masculine accents through amber and oak moss during its development, it doesn't quite succeed for me, but enough that the "feminine" impression doesn't completely take over (even though it tries hard). Certainly also a tip for those who appreciate "Power" by Kenzo.

Anyway, it is independently and unusually positive; moreover, the longevity is quite remarkable. A fragrance that almost makes me long for the first warm spring evenings when one dares to enjoy a cool rosé on the terrace again. However, it quickly gets cold, and then one prefers to go back inside after sunset. That thin jacket should also be replaced...

What a strange nose-pleaser! Starts floral-jasmine, the middle is out of this world, and ends earthy-complex. Retro. Good!!
